    Thank you for your time, I just found zentangle. I was looking for something to do as a warm up for my inking. This is so much fun, and btw, you're doing a fine job teaching. "Artist who seek perfection in everything, are those who cannot find it in anything." Eugene Delacroix. Cheers!

    Thank you for the ' don't press your pen into the paper/tile but just let the pen draw the ink from your pen'? Oh my days that little bit of advice has been a game changer for me! 🥰🥰🥰XXX Trish

    One of my most important messages ever. I needed to hear it so badly. Art has a messy stage. Thank you for that. I need to stop giving up before I get past that stage! ❤💯

    Hey! Do you have any idea how exciting it is to see people drawing my pattern? I still consider myself a newbie tangler and I created this out of a "mistake" I made doing another tangle. There are no mistakes. Thank you! ❤ This makes me so happy.

    I use 9x12 watercolor paper. I wait till they have a buy one, get 1 (or sometines 2) free. I already had a paper cutter and make each sheet into 12@ 3"x3" tiles. Then I got a paper punch that filets the corners from a friend that use to do scrapbooking. I doodle a lot. I can now spend more on pens!

    1. Thank you for demonstrating drawing imperfectly.
    2. I kind-of shake when I’m drawing lines. ( I tend to be shaky anyway. What do you think about having trouble with drawing lines if I can’t even smooth?)
    3. You are so real. Thank you!
    4. You draw those curved lines SO well!

      Hi Stella! Regular pencil is just fine, I tend to use too much so I prefer to use the Stadler Mars Lumograph F Pencil. Has less graphite in it so less chance for a mess. That's a personal choice and not required. Thank you for your comment! 💜

    • @TheTirelessTangler
      @TheTirelessTangler  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Carolyn it’s so great to have you here I don’t have a video video out yet but that is one that I have been wanting to make. You really just need pen and paper. That said a good technical pen with archival ink is a great way to start. If you don’t want to purchase is zentangle tiles you may use hot pressed watercolor paper or a sketch pad. I recommend the Canson mixed media pad so water can be added. Hot pressed paper, arches is awesome as well as fabriano, but you want at least 100 lb weight. I prefer arches because I know what I am getting.

    For the life of me, I cannot see Tissooh, Membranart, most of Tomas' amazing designs. Ive been drawing with both hands to see if my ability to see right handed artists patterns would improve. Not sure if it's helped, but even as I've practiced his steps, my results look unintelligible. If you have any suggestions, I'll do anything to 'get it'. Thx

      Hi Deana I am using 2 slightly different tools. The first is called a tortillon it is rolled paper with a point at one end and a hole in the other. The other thing is similar, it's a paper stump and is pointed on each side. They are cheap at any art supply store or on Amazon.

      It is so amazing how people have to find something to bitch about these days. Does it make you feel better and more superior by cutting another person down? It's so easy to do when you can hide behind a screen. If you are this way out in public, I'm sure you would be a very unpleasant person to be around.
      If you had any brains at all, you would be able to figure how to speed up the video. Or even better yet, JUST DON'T WATCH.
