i saw this helmet in the showroom and it was like around $800... but can tell why the price is worth it, its so light yet strong, and the inner liners are extremely soft and comfortable.
I got one now and its so insane loud espacally compared to my scorpion exo490 i had before. Is this normal? This is ear damaging man.
I mean you get Used to it. But for this Price compared to the 180€ Scorpion its really emberassing..
I've had the X802R since 2012 in the UK. what a stunning lid. it just works.
I agree the visor isn't the most sophisticated, but it works.
I'd struggle to pay the premium for Arai or Shoei again.
I have been using this helmet paired with a Cardo pack talk bold and slim JBL speakers. It does press a little on your ear but you do get use to it. Love my helmet and don't think I'll be switching anytime soon

I recommend it. 10 Seconds, I forget I wear a helmet, it's superlight, venting works great and it looks sharp.
If you need features, go for something else though. I have my priorities on weight, comfort, venting and safety, and that helmet is awesome.
xlite x-803rs full carbon is a game changer, to bad we can only get it from European websites
had my 802rr carbon for a few years now in the UK. such a good helmet weighs bugger all. can be noisy though at times. got an interphone f3mc intercom in mine as well no issues

I just wanted a more racy look. I was not thinking that just for lightweight and aeorodynamik a helmet in this price will be in such a Bad quality about noise
@@WPM8116 in totally with you about the look and comfy. Its really stabile of you go a lil bit faster you feel it. But i ride everyday to the work probably over 150 kph in the Autobahn and this will Kill me man
@@bikes4life05 Get in a crash in your heavy, polycarbonate Scorpion and you will see where the price difference is. Race helmets are generally loud.
I'm very interested in this helmet. I have owned a few Nolan N104's which I like for the most part. But this looks like an improved version of those.
People recommending this he probably don't ride on the highway that much. The wind noise is crazy on this helmet compared to my previous Icon helmet. I admit it's lighter and more comfortable, but the wind noise ,,,,Uhhhhhh

Hello, thanks for your reviews. I'm deciding now what helmet to buy and need an advice, which helmets would you recomend, that have the most reduced shell, so that it doesnt look big on rider. I was thinking about HJC RPHA 10, but may be there're even more compact helmets?

What is the black button for on the one side of the visor?
The tint extra visors, are they available for how much?
Bought it when bought my v2 at Ducati Dallas last summer 2021. I installed a Cardo 1 solo, headsets and micro p with no problems. Only thing I don't have is the tint visor. Someone who's interchangeable exper in here?
How are these compare to Arai in terms of quality?

It's not uncommon for a race-oriented helmet to be louder than a street model because the manufacturer is focused on performance/aero/weight over noise levels since almost every racer is wearing ear plugs while they ride. However, it never hurts to go over and check that everything is secured like the face shield, etc. Even a small crack at the base of the shield where it is not fully closed can cause a lot of noise at higher speeds. No, all the X-802RRs sold in the US just have DOT labeling. They don't have the official ECE labels. The X-803 is the same way. -DrewZilla

No, it isn't specifically designed for glasses. Instead, consider Shoei and Arai. Their race helmets are the X-14 and Corsair-X. -DrewZilla

The X-803 just has slight improvements such as a redesigned interior liner, improved lateral visibility, and slightly elongated chin guard. -DrewZilla

Not necessarily. The HJC is more compact with better ventilation, but the X-Lite has a bit nicer construction. -DrewZilla

That visor lock is pretty pathetic looking. Also seems to pop off when guys crash in GP, way more often than any other helmets.

If you have the money, the X-Lite is excellent. However, the price of the RPHA 11 is just so competitive, so I recommend the HJC for most people. -DrewZilla
