Great review James. I've been doing research on this lid for a month or so & this was by far the best review. I've put on on order as a result. Top work & no surprise it took an Australian to deliver a well structured & delivered review. 🇦🇺

Nice one Info Moto Team. In 40 plus years of riding, I've never had a really "decent" lid, until I recently found a old model Nolan. It's a beauty, but this Xlite looks next level....

Bought one today based on this review. Great helmet and out of all my previous helmets this one has the best airflow. As for comfort its very similair to the Shoei but at a €150 lower price.

Very good review. I am also retiring a GT Air. Two gripes, the ear piece blocks fall out easily and are hard to fit back. Lost one. I had two breath guards blow away at 60km each riding in the city with the visor up. Not sure the Shoei is that quiet. Otherwise happy.
I am looking at the GT Air 2 or Neotech 2. Would you put the X-Lite ahead of the GT Air 2? Thanks.P

Thank you for the quality review.
I'm currently in the market for a new lid.
It's time to retire my Shoei GT-air.
I'm sure I will purchase a X-903 ultra carbon this coming weekend. It will suit my multistrada pikes peak perfectly.
    Cheers

Did you get the xlite 903? I'm about to retire my gt air and was thinking of grabbing this instead of the gt air2. Wondering if this is as good or better, thanks, ride safe.

Retired mt GT air for this , fogging and air flow in gt air was the worst i have exp , shoei for my life until now . Airflow should have settings where you can put in nothing through too stupid amounts that is too much , then you tune.

i have a round oval head like James, will this helmet fit me good? especially on the side of the head and ears when you put the lid on and off.

Yes, it will. It’s an intermediate Oval. I use the ratchets to pull pads in when placing on.

It looks very similar with Nolan N97. X-lite is a Nolan brand. So what is the main difference between Nolan and X-lite?
Is there a huge difference in quality between them?

Nolangroup produces helmets in polycarbonate, under the brand names Nolan and Grex and all composite fibres helmets under the X-lite brand. X-lite have very litle to do with Nolan..so pls dont say NOLAN when its a X-lite helmet.
