I have the same right angle bit, also smaller hands, also small ratchet set. I do not have a hellcat. So, off to the store I suppose. Darn. 😀

Did you notice the key " FOB " shaped hole in the center of the folding piece? That's for the "Dead Fob" placement... you were supposed to remove the factory padded piece in the Bottom console.. Which exposes a cut out in the shape of your Fob... when you have a dead Fob.. you place it in the cut out for the vehicle to enable start..just remove the new added foam piece... and drop Fob in cutout.. Just sayin..
Not gonna lie. I was definitely expecting a more secure lock. The other videos I have seen have a preexisting bolt in the bottom of the console to better secure it.
Good video. Not sure that is worth $240 bucks (with discount), though. I'm tempted to see if the aftermarket comes around with a better solution before purchasing. Does that Hellcat fit in there with room to spare? I want to throw a FNS9C and appendix holster in there.
The hellcat with the holster I have took a bit of a wiggle to get in. 2 Mags underneath and hellcat on top. This only takes up approximately half of the console. You can place more inside for sure. If you don’t want to holster your firearm, it will definitely provide more space.
The twist latch won’t turn unless the proper combo is applied. However, I’m sure if someone really wanted to get in, it would require a heavy hammer of sorts to break off the combo lock assembly all together. I’m not saying that this is full proof by any means, but it will definitely delay a thief.
@@jeremyoberbeck2467 yeah, I figured brute force will open it easy enough. It looked like a thin blade could get in there and shove the tongue over. Good to know. I'm not sure I want to give up that space but I do park for days at a time at public places in the middle of nowhere. It may be worth it.

This safe is secured to a plastic console.lol I have a solid steel heavy duty safe that is 10 inches wide and has a 14 inches height and is 16 inches long. I might secure it to the bed or under the back seat with a heavy duty cable.
You have to bolts to the front and rear of the main plate. If you take it out, You’ll have 4 holes. But I’m not sure who pays that close attention to the inside of a middle console
So this seems like a bad idea instead of just a broken window and stuff gone you now have to deal with a broken window and a center console ripped to ripped to pieces and stuff gone and all the seat belts cut because the stuff in the center console was useless
Agreed. Just do what you think is best. There’s a rear seat vault you can get under the flip bench seat. You can also get portable safes that use security wire you can strap to the seat. Different options are out there. I don’t think anything is going to be “perfect” for any vehicle unless it’s welded down somewhere.

By itself without a holster, yes. I have a Walther PPQ which is much bigger than the hellcat and it fits. Just a matter of find the right angle.

Yes. I placed a Walther PPQ inside and it fits

They have a large one that fits under one of the cubby’s under the rear bench. I believe that is $400+
