I enjoyed StarFox Zero as well. Granted, I don't think it's as good as 64 in terms of gameplay & replayability, & I won't deny that it's an incredibly flawed game that can turn off a lot of people, mainly because of its control scheme & lack of content, but aside from that, I still found myself enjoying the game overall.

Then something with your internet must be wrong. Have you tried using LAN instead of WLAN? Its round about twice as strong. I don't have High Speed Internet and I have never problems (plaid over 200 h without a single disconnect), so the error must be on your side.

Tokyo Mirage Sessions was a great game with a lot of customization options for character abilities and had a great deal of depth with a fun but still somewhat serious story behind it. The music was great, and the characters were light-hearted, quirky, and endearing. It was my 5th favorite game on the console. I don't care that it wasn't a true Fire Emblem game or Shin Megami Tensei game. I had my 3DS to get my fix of those series. It was different and a very enjoyable JRPG.

The story may not be so good, the aliens look to me like rip-offs of Mass Effect races, but the world is actually open and not just big, there's a crapload to do (welcome to 2015, you're guaranteed to get a bang for your buck), and best of all, there are GEARS!!!

Personally I like the Wii U. It’s like a cheaper version of the Switch, but with a LOT of fun games to play, plus with the fact that all Wii games are backwards compatible on it. And their games aren’t $60 per game!

This list is exactly why the Wii U was a failure. These were the only games worth buying the system for. The Wii U had no support from other companies. What support they had from Activision was gone quick when they realized their Call of Duty games were selling better on everything else. Nintendo hardly supported it, too. No main Zelda or Mario game, a failure to make a Star Fox game nearly as good as Star Fox 64.
4 games from Nintendo was all they seemed to care to support: Smash Bros, Splatoon, Mario Kart, and Super Mario Maker... and even Super Mario Maker's support wained quickly. I believe they've still failed to provide even the simplest things like a large chunk of SMW enemies and freaking slopes.

I agree with you. The games on the system were really fun games to play, and not rehashes of every mainline gritty action brawler of first person shooter from last generation. I guess the point is that if you couldn't enjoy what Wii U had to offer, you were going to be left out. That's not Nintendo or the console's fault; it's the consumer's issues holding them back from a platform with very pleasing software, and if there were drawbacks, they were minimal at worst.
Here's a bigger point I seem to struggle with amongst people who criticize (but don't even own) Wii U. Looking at it from a completely objective perspective, a platform selling in the tens of millions isn't a failure. Not even remotely close to one. In the past, failed consoles were ones that didn't move practically any units and couldn't break even. The Atari 7800, Sega 32X, the Turbo Grafx 16, the PC-FX, the Neo Geo CD, the 3DO, the freaking Dreamcast even are all commercial failures that neve began to reach what Wii U did, some not even factoring as an inkling near those numbers. All of those console (except the Dreamcast) also failed because they didn't have titles exclusive to the platform, and many of the games that were on the systems didn't pull their weight...some were garbage. The Wii U was still able to support itself specifically on Nintendo-centric titles and almost every single one was praised by critics and performed excellently. A failure of a console wouldn't have been able to pull that off. I'm just a bit annoyed when people are so quick to label Wii U as a worthless console or a failure when for one thing, they haven't even picked one up, and another thing, last time I checked failed consoles don't last for almost a full console generation....which is what the PS Vita couldn't manage to do. Why aren't people labeling that a failure? Sony's washed their hands of it entirely.

You have games like Xenoblade X, Tokyo Mirage Sessions, Pikmin 3, Tropical Freeze, Wholly World, Hyrule Warriors, Pokkén, The Wonderful 101, Captain Toad or the exclusive Bayonetta 2. That s a good number of exclusives.

Personally I agree with Premium Heck. Yes I have passed lv 10 if you were going to ask. My reasons for stating this is truly because of how dependent this game is for online play. The single player isn't really interesting to me as I've lost interest in it already(but I need to finish it to unlock more items. Aside that you have a co-op mode and online and if you really don't have a strong internet connection this game really won't be all that fun for you.

I've got 4 of the top 5. The Wii U is best for family gamer night. The gap is so big, but when it's me and the wife, the 3 kids (from 16yrs old down to 5 years old) all of us being able to play Super Smash Bros or Mario Kart 8 together is what makes this platform.

Also, I definitely would have put Lego City Undercover and Star Fox Zero somewhere in the honorable mentions at least. I'm not going to attempt to justify the latter since I know the game does have problems (it's far from a "pick up and play" game to put it politely), but Lego City Undercover really blew me away with out addicting it could be. And this is coming from a grown man who thought all of those other Lego games based off of movies n' such were only okay (maybe a little more than "okay", but that's about it). I wasn't able to play it when the game originally came out because I didn't own a Wii U yet (and, when I finally got one, the game was rare and expensive) but thank God Nintendo re-released LCU as a Nintendo Selects title.

I know it's not a console exclusive but Sonic&All-Stars racing Transformed is equal to mario kart 8 and does have exclusive content. Lego City Undercover should've at least been honorable mention along with Wii Party U, Nintendoland, Devils Third, Fast Racing Neo, Affordable Space Adventures, Lost Reavers, Toads treasure tracker, NES remix 1&2.. I think this system is one of the most underrated. Peace

Tropical freeze was a perfect blend of challenge and fun, I loved that game.
