How will the sun affect the installed product? Any risk of it coming off when the car is parked outside in the heat?
I just ordered two days ago. Just need a heat gun... would a cheap one be ok? And is baby shampoo the only thing we can use? I don't have that
A blow dryer can do the trick to help for the post heating part of the installs. We normally only use baby shampoo however we have heard customer use dish soap.
@@BogarTechDesigns i ended up getting a heat gun. I figured I might need it in the future anyway. I just got the package in the mail today! Haha. I didn't know your warehouse is 20 min from my house! Excited to install it this week. The only thing I'm worried about is accidentally cutting too much off during installation or cutting into my cars paint/chrome piece with the blade but we'll see.
can u not see a line where the winyl overlaps? also is this all 3inch tape?
You can see it. I'm currently doing it but as you heat it up the more it seems to blend in. You really have to go up close to see it though. It's way tough than it looks especially in the center where the license plate overlaps... in the video there's a license plate holder still attached but man it was a struggle. Wouldve been easier if i just take it off first
What if you want to take it off later if you want to sell your car?
The film can be removed later down the road by using a heat gun to help loosen the adhesive and make it easy to remove the film.
