WHAT A BEAUTIFUL GIFT IT IS FOR WOMEN WHO CHOOSE TO DEDICATE THEIR LIVES IN A LIFE OF PRAYER & THEY PRAY FOR OUR WORLD & TO SAVE SOULS. JUST LIKE OUR WONDERFUL BLESSED MOTHER WHO LOVES GOD PERFECTLY THROUGH HER PERFECT OBEDIENCE, HUMILITY & CHARITY.
If anyone is interested in practicing what these beautiful sisters are doing I recommend the book "True Spouse of Jesus Christ" by St. Alphonsus de Liguori. This book has changed my life. Even though I cannot be in Ireland with these sisters I feel that I am with them in spirit by reading and trying to live this type of life the best that I can. St. Alphonsus suffered from Rheumatoid arthritis. God has gifted me also with this cross. I hope and pray that I do not waste any sufferings that come with this cross. This book has been reprinted and reads exactly the same as the original book. All of St. Alphonsus ascetical works are excellent.
Was I not married I would have wanted to live with you. I feel such an attraction to the carmelite order of Mother Irene. Thank you reverent mother for all your works and the works of the dear sisters who live and pray there with you. My soul is with Christ and with you
Can you join a Third Order? I'm also married of 5 years with 2 boys under 4 and wish to live a life in the spirit of the Carmelite way, which would be a Lay or Third Order for us who are married or not of a religious vocation. I spoke with my spiritual director (who runs a monastery with a third order), but I am discerning becoming a Tradition Lay Carmelite. You may have one near you, but there are also ways to follow this life individually like the Traditional Lay Carmelites of Fatima.
My heart is there with you. Please pray for me that God will bring me into perfect union with Him before I die. Thank you for these videos, they really help to encourage me to persevere until the end, working out my salvation in fear and trembling.
Oh, Mother Irene, what a truly beautiful video today. It is so wonderful to see the young postulants and indeed, to see Sr. Anne Marie and you in your new home. Thank you for all your prayers for us and your sacrifices for the whole world. Indeed, where would we be without our Carmelites praying for us!
St Teresa of Avila was a Carmelite nun. I heard a series of talks by a priest about her book “Mansions” that flat blew my mind. How in the world do Catholics know all of these things? I am now a Catholic man myself. St Teresa of Avila, pray for us.
A Very high regard for all the Carmelite Sisters all over the world May Jesus lead them N Mother Mary mantle everyone of the my eldest Sister was a Carmelite Sister blessings from lndia Nasik Mahatashtra
I remember watching “Selling God’s House” 7 years ago. I wondered what would become of Sr. Irene. Look at the faithfulness of God to those who are faithful to the inspirations of grace.
We had Traditional Latin Mass in Kildare..but "they" moved our amazing Priest to Dublin.. My dad, brother and I served at it..pray for me as I'm thinking of becoming a Traditional Latin Mass Priest..
Hello from Oklahoma, USA Sisters! I am speechless, and I've been following you from the early days. It is truly a blessing to watch how Our Lord is blessing your community. This video💘. I continue to pray for all your intentions and thank you for your fiat! Ireland and the Church is certainly fortunate in you.
Ave Maria! Thank you for allowing us to see a small glimpse of your Religious Hermit life! Personally, the section in the video showing you (Mother Irene) teaching the Postulants from the black board really touched my heart! I am sure you will get more woman offering up them selfs to Jesus Christ through the Blessed Virgin Mary, when they watch this small video, that's providing they are praying the full (15 decade) Holy Rosary every day first! Sincerely Guy.
Seeing that Sr. Irene's humble seed is now blossoming gladdens my heart. I'm sure she can take in a few more sisters and train them before she grows frail (she still looks strong to me). Deo gratias! Remember me in your prayers Sisters. I'm at a crossroad in my life, and I'm struggling with sloth.
I’m a cradle Catholic and been thinking of religious life for the past 3 years on and off. It’s just hard to find a traditional community here in my country. I ask for your prayers sister for my vocation.
Thanks for this well presented explanation of the life of the carmelite iam a carmelite but I have not idea of this great privilege of sharing in the mystical body of christ the church.
Lord, mercifully receive the prayers of your people who call upon you, and grant that they may know and understand what things they ought to do, and also may have grace and power faithfully to accomplish them; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever.
🌷I would like to say hello to my dearest Sister! Dear Sisters, may I ask where your Carmelite order lives? Dear Sister, I want to come learn and live with you here, is it possible? Do you want to adopt me...? ❤❤❤
These beautiful souls, unknown to most, are the glue that holds the whole world together. God bless them, and all who visit this channel.
Making Holy Ireland holy again. A spectacle before angels and men.

I am a lay Carmelite attempting to live as a non-canonical hermit. Your explanation of a Carmelite nun has touched my heart.

Sometimes we have to make the ultimate sacrifice and be ready to prove our love by total detachment even from our country.

I wish there was a place like this in west America.
So cool.
I know it is not, but this almost looks Carthusian in some aspects.
