Good assortment of EDC gear sir (good idea with the cash )....I own a business as well and your load out mirrors my kit contents ....the Janus is a great little bag...
Please be very, very careful with the Vicodin you carry in your meds tin. In many states, it's a felony to carry a controlled substance (such as a Schedule II narcotic) not inside its prescription bottle. It often does not matter whether you actually HAVE a prescription for it or not. Simply carrying it inside a different container can get you in trouble.
Really awesome video. I slide one of these over the strap on my maxpedition sling pack. I'm clearly not utilizing it to it's full potential. I don't have anything externally, that's going to change. One recommendation, don't put all those pills in the same container. Some medications shouldn't be mixed. I bought one of those multiple day pill boxes and then wrote on each section what is in it, to isolate the different meds.
Richard Jones Great observation! It's actually just a strip of tape. Thanks for your question and being part of the GearGeek community! I hope you like what you see enough that you decide to subscribe to the channel!
I do the same thing you do; my friend. I either mount it on my belt; carabiner onto my Maxpedition Neatfreak; or, just put it on my belt for the day. Great minds think alike :)
Nice Review..This Model Name of Maxpedition still available 2022-2023 online or actual stores please? How much the bag please? How many liters of the bag please? All edc items in your bag still available 2022-2023 please? You Can Put Patches please?where can i buy the all items includes the bag please?
Thanks for your input, Brent. I learned the hard way many years ago the importance of having enough cash for unforeseen emergencies. I started building my emergency fund $20 a week and every now and again adding $50 or $100 when possible. It adds up faster than you might think. I'm sure you can do it if you set your mind to it. I hope that helps and I hope you subscribe to the channel because I will have a video that goes over the philosophy of using money as gear.
Good content. Just a question... why do so many TH-cam reviewers hand-hold the camera and manipulate the item that they are reviewing with the other hand? A cheap tripod would make the whole process much easier. Keep up the good work!
Uhhh, no, but uhhh... I was uhhh, counting all his, uhhh, dollars and uhhh...... yeah. Think I'm gunna rob him.... Seriously, he casual-carries more cash than I get to see in five months!!
Very disappointed with customer service and warranty. Did you know that the "Lifetime Limited Warranty" has nothing to do with you? It actually has to do with the "Lifetime" of the materials they use and what Maxpedition perceives that to be. I quote "Lifetime is defined as the expected life of the product, not the user's lifetime." I learned the hard way when I called for a repair and was turned down
+EnduringEagle I've worked for a company that actually had a "Forever Guarantee." They wanted their product to be hassle free and not require things like proof of purchase, product registration, or any other hoops to jump through. It was at that company that one of my customers, who was a lawyer, told me that "Lifetime" warranties are usually only good for 7 years because that's the "life expectancy" of a product in the courts. Unfortunately you had to learn this the hard way, but I hope you don't knock Maxpedition for this as that is typical and an industry standard (I'm not saying that it's right though and as a consumer, I'm on your side). At the end of the day, Maxpedition makes excellent gear that has served me well for many years.
I guess we have different daily needs, but I sincerely doubt you need the 20+ knives to go with your gun... But I guess keeping $1000 on you sort of gives robbers the incentive to target you? Lol. Also the number of flashlights you have seems like overkill. Also you don't have a mobile charger or battery backup for your phone, which seems to be pretty mandatory at this day in age. Overall 4/10
Nick Danzinger Nick Danzinger Thanks for your feedback and being part of the conversation! One thing I love about discussing EDC gear is that none of us think we need the same kit. For me, 2 lights and 2 knives doesn't seem like overkill. What we "need" to carry with us on a daily basis is such a personal preference. Our philosophy of use really determines the things we find to be necessities. I know I update the things I carry from time to time. As I use my EDC gear I find out what I actually use and what I'm missing. I sure do hope you become a subscriber if you haven't already subscribed.
Subbing because you incotporate maxpeditions! I’m new to them but…. Dang,,, they’re good! Keep it coming. Just watched this one 5-10x :)
Great review. Really looking forward to seeing future gear videos.:)
Thanks so much. MagicRocket!! More reviews coming soon. Any special requests?

Not to mention that the vicodin can rub off on the other pills and if someone can't have opioids for whatever reason, that could end badly

Thanks for the suggestion, James! I'm always looking to maximize my system!
Question.
Is that hot glue you put at the end of the batteries to stop them being damaged or shorting?
If so good idea.

Oh man 1000+ in your kit? I'd love to find it laying around somewhere lol.
Not a bad edc kit tho, well thought out to serve your needs
Honestly i'd be so worried to just walk around with 1k+ in my bag, you must live in a nice neighbourhood
Anyone count the “uh’s”? Great review, but my god the “uh’s” are nonstop.
At least 3-4 times every sentence.
