Dr. Mark Jenkins is also the euphonium professor at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia (just outside of Washington DC). If you're looking into majoring in music or hoping to get a graduate degree, I can't recommend him highly enough. Superb!
Wow what a Fantastic performance of Simone Mantias showpiece for Euphonium, Endearing Young Charms, I've not heard it played with as much stylish flair and showmanship than this. Bravo
I’ve never understood the purpose of an uninteresting cadenza played at the beginning of a solo that has so much scope for virtuosity. I have to say I don’t like this version. Florid bit curiously bland. The playing is ok, I guess, if you’ve not heard Lyndon Baglin or David Childs or most extravagantly, Robert Childs.

😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Ole Marky Jenkins certainly knows how to do the business, `eh.
Wow, stunning! What superb sound and clarity... I'm curious about which make/model of euph the soloist plays...?
I believe he was playing his Willson 2900.
@@dwerden it's crazy to hear how much better it projects than certain other makes of euph! Big sound with plenty of core...
TIL the Euph can play flute music.
Now... let's hear it on the double bell euphonium, ala The Music Man
