Thank god they never removed this! They decided to censor Sylvanas's appearance by covering her belly, but at least the dialogue is not "too harsh or vulgar". It puts Garrosh in such an understandable position. I kinda hate we don't have an angry orc like him running at least the orc faction.

I am Alliance and proud, but I have deep, deep respect for Sylvanas. All she has ever done is try to protect her people. If I *ever* played a Horde character, it would be Tauren....or a Forsaken.
The only time I played Horde, I played a Blood Elf (with an ex). The only thing I didn't like about the Blood Elves was their feather duster of a mount, so my ex and I spent countless hours farming Forsaken rep to get bad ass skeleton horses. As such, I grew to love Lordaeron and Sylvanas. She is certainly deserving of the queen title. I'm playing again, and I've found that I really love playing Worgen characters and I think Greymane is awesome. Seeing the two of them fighting, I'm almost conflicted as to who to cheer for. Almost. (If I had to choose between the two, it's Sylvanas.)

The problem is Jaina may turn against her own because they choose to ally themself with the horde for beating down the legion, also Anduin isn't know to be someone who want war with the Horde. I wouldn't be surprise if she side with the old god for that reason, Yogg is already slowly awaking in Ulduar and N'zoth is moving forward with the Naga.

He should speak with the orcs first tell them whats up and why they should not do it, or the Orcs explaining why they need so much Wood. But naah lets attack direct and he gets killed. Grom himself kills Cenarius alone, and then with Thrall he kills Mannoroth. He was a true Warrior, and Garosh want to surpass his father or dont bring shame upon the name Hellscream. So Garrosh most likely find himself surounded by Shaa, but Orcs can controll their Anger those feelings they were before Felorcs only Garrosh not. So he gets corrupted by the Shaa, every Action in Pandaria you can clearly see how he is corrupted. Angry all the time, attack this and that, then attacking the Pandaren leader, searching for the stone Army on Isle of Thunder. After this finding the Heart of a Old god named Yshaarj, first putting it into the Well of the Pandaren, most likely like the Sunwell. Everything gets corrupted we as players see Garrosh is gone complete crazy. Everything that looks like a treat is killed of, bombing Theramore as a example. And in the final fight against him he even consumes or drains the power out of Yshaarj hearth. What i wanna say, everything has his point why it happens. Nothing happens because somebody want it to, there are circumstances and so on that benefit exactly the bad thing and not the good.
Metzen who loved thrall's character is no longer doing things with wow so Blizzard took this opportunity to right all those wrongs Metzen did with his character.
One True Vikingbard Metzen had Thrall basically being the most powerful character in Azeroth giving him the powers of the aspects etc. Basically a Medivh everyone could love. Not sure where you got Garrosh from but it is probably because of people like you that we had to kill him off. Thrall will continue to be forgotten now that the player is more powerful than Thrall. If you can not see what Metzen was doing with Thrall then you are just blind and biased. Go snap one off to his poster before you rage log.

No doubt we’re killing her as atleast a final boss unless she has some amazing comeback and they use her to lead or help out in shadowlands to restore the balance to the giant crack she made in the world

Btw, if there's gonna be more videos of the Evolution of Wow Characters, i wanna nominate Bolvar Fordragon! Other good characters would be Anduin, of course ( the only character in Azeroth that ages) but probably it would be better to wait a bit, to see how he develops tru Legion. And of course Illidan in a future once we know the whole deal with him in Legion. Also i just realized that another character that have had a lot of evolution... is our own character... I mean think about it, we started as an unknown adventurer in Nortshire, we went int asist the armies of Westfall and look for the missing king. We spearheaded the 2nd incursion into Outlands, prevented Kill'jaeden from coming into Azeroth, we took down the Lich King and earned the tittle of "heroes", i mean in lore we are commanders of the Stormwind Armies in WoD and now we are Highlords! (if you are a paladin for example) And we wield the Ashbringer! Where ar we going next?! ...This is what happens when you see a Hayven video, is that good!

Awesome video. I am a big fan of Sylvanas and the undead characters and the Tirisfal starting zones aswell. Tthe npc's are the funniest and interesting of all races. I think her story is the story I am most familiar with. It such a tragic story. Nothing get her on her knees, she always raise. I did not know that Hallow's End was an event only for horde earlier. Maybe because I played horde. I hope you are doing well Hayven. All spirit to you.
As a Horde player, I feel deeply respectful to her when I play with my undead. I don't know, there is something about her that commands not only respect but true worship. The way she leads with things it's certainly not "right" to the main society eyes, but she is a desperate warrior that believes she is doing the best for her people leading her to "do what it takes" approach as long as she achieves her goals. I LooooVeeee Her and hope she will rise as a hero that even the Alliance can admire someday. Love the video!
What 5 years can change in a comment. I still like Sylvanus even after all the events that have happened. I love the book, I adore Patty's voice, and her tragic path to where she stands now is a bittersweet one. I hope to see more of her; there is a slim chance and I will hang onto it.

Sylvanas Windrunner.... very few NPCs in this game have gripped me as much as she has. Even though I'm primarily an Alliance member, I have a soft spot for Sylvanas. The most badass of all the faction leader, second only to Arthas in genociding an entire race. Arthas killed 90% of the high elves and Gelbin 80% of the gnomes.
ive always liked that scene because it showed the tension between the races even within a single faction, and it showed that she was starting to have alterior motives.
While I enjoy the Blood Elves' story, I don't think Lor'themar has had too much change. This is another reason why we need a Silvermoon revamp. Make Silvermoon Great Again
really awesome video. it might be worth mentioning of the Vareesa story that we got in the novel warcrimes. it really showed me that sylvannas still has a heart... until she was betrayed. hoping to get some sylvannas / vareesa / alleria action in legion where they all see each other and interact.
If Sylvanas betrays the Horde, I side with her. Period. Jokes ( Or is it ? ) aside, I think she is gonna betray the Horde, or rather feel betrayed by it and just tell all the livings to f*ck off. Several people have been saying it for years, but right now she IS nearing a breaking point, having lost her sisters, the prospect of saving her people ( The forsaken ) becoming more and more dire, and the Horde only respecting her as long as she leads them the right way ( If even, as it looks like Vol'Jin only gave her the raid lead because he saw some vision, but otherwise did not like her ), which she might just not be able to comes Legion's end. Also, I don't know when Bolvar's storyline is gonna get resolved, but if it isn't by the next expansion, then he might just ally with Sylvanas to create a truly unstoppable force. And I would love that. I mean I'd be so sad to see her die ( Well, permanently, that is ), but she'd be going in a blaze.
Yes, I goofed up there. I was talking from a horde perspective only and phrased myself badly. Since Anduin is back in command there are technically three alliance leaders from Vanilla ruling atm so this was a case of me being unclear. I have clarified what I meant in the description and with annotations.
Sylvanas is awesome. She's the only person who is actually competent enough to be a war leader. And im not just saying that because all my characters are Forsaken.
We've had a lot of sad stories in WoW, I think for a twist I'd like to see this story do a complete 180 and actually lead to something happier. After what Arthus put her through, I want her rise like a phoenix in the end. I would like to see her restored to her original self, then reunite with her sisters and kicking butt. One can dream anyways. I would love to see a Windrunner questing area situation somewhere, with all three sisters in charge. I think it would make things a bit ironic. Jaina goes evil and Sylvanas turns good. I mean, Sylvanas is not a saint, by any means. But, I just want to see her to win in the end. To, me she is still a hero, because she went down fighting. She did not want this and Arthus robbed her of that.. Now, she faces the rest of her life being tormented. That is just not right to me. She seems like she is doing what ever she can to avoid death. Now, that she is warchief, it adds more motivation to stay alive. That's why I think she said, "In the end death claims us all.". So, I don't think she is as evil as people perceive her to be. I think she just feels she has no choice but to stay alive. It's possible she may be going a little insane, because of that reason. But, I still have hope for her yet. I also wanted to add that, I play both sides. But, unfortunately Night Elves sided with the Humans. Honestly, why didn't the Night Elves just work it out with Thrall, at the time? How hard was it to just provide the lumber the orcs needed? I blame it on those tree hugging druids. Anyways, as an Alliance player, I agree with the Horde on this one. Give the Horde a break. It's been awhile since the Alliance had a big bad guy. We have our own nut jobs too.

while i wont quit wow if she is made a villain and a target, i think calling her a shitty character is far off the mark. the windrunner storyline (sylvanas, her two sisters, her mother lireesa, etc) is possibly one of the best written bits of lore in the world of azeroth. a person who dies trying to defend her homeland, then tortured, then gains power and fights back, then gets headstrong and goes a little nuts. it is a storyline that has incredible potential and depth, more-so than the other faction leaders ive read into. ill be ok with it if she does become a bad guy, but only because it would fit her storyline of letting her vengance go to her head and corrupt her.
Sylvanas has had my favourite character development in the entire Warcraft mythos. She has grown so much and she's such a badass. I also admire how she is always a wild card, it appears that most of her decisions are for the sake of her and the forsaken and for no one else but she manages to show some signs of will to do good every now and then, she even showed a glimmer of mortality when she was shocked by being named Warchief.
Sylvanas must have some hidden motives that we don't know about. A means to an end. She's still my favorite lore character (aside from Lilian Voss). I've been playing forsaken since day one, at first it was just because they looked cool, but I do love their history. However, what would happen to the forsaken if Sylvanas is killed? Is she not a big part of the reason the undead were able to break the control of the lich king, hence, Will of the Forsaken?
I believe mekatorque has always been king of the gnomes and still is, unless you meant horde sided. Tyrande always has been too, even tho malfurion is now with her

By the way for people who dont understand what happen in Pandaria with Garrosh. He would lead the horde perfectly till today, the problem was the Continent itself Pandaria. It was corrupted by Shaa, first appereance of Shaa was with General Nazgrim(hordeside) he got crazy only because of thinking he failed his Warchief and the Manifest of shaa began. What do you think happened to Garrosh after coming to Pandaria? First you should know who Grom Hellscream was, then you can understand the Mind of Garrosh and his actions. His Father was a Hero of the Horde maybe even the greates he killed Cenarius alone in Ashenvale and sry but Cenarius fucked up in this moment. He should speak with the orcs first tell them whats up and why they should not do it, or the Orcs explaining why they need so much Wood. But naah lets attack direct and he gets killed. Grom himself kills Cenarius alone, and then with Thrall he kills Mannoroth. He was a true Warrior, and Garosh want to surpass his father or dont bring shame upon the name Hellscream. So Garrosh most likely find himself surounded by Shaa, but Orcs can controll their Anger those feelings they were before Felorcs only Garrosh not. So he gets corrupted by the Shaa, every Action in Pandaria you can clearly see how he is corrupted. Angry all the time, attack this and that, then attacking the Pandaren leader, searching for the stone Army on Isle of Thunder. After this finding the Heart of a Old god named Yshaarj, first putting it into the Well of the Pandaren, most likely like the Sunwell. Everything gets corrupted we as players see Garrosh is gone complete crazy. Everything that looks like a treat is killed of, bombing Theramore as a example. And in the final fight against him he even consumes or drains the power out of Yshaarj hearth. What i wanna say, everything has his point why it happens. Nothing happens because somebody want it to, there are circumstances and so on that benefit exactly the bad thing and not the good.

Metzen who loved thrall's character is no longer doing things with wow so Blizzard took this opportunity to right all those wrongs Metzen did with his character.
One True Vikingbard Metzen had Thrall basically being the most powerful character in Azeroth giving him the powers of the aspects etc. Basically a Medivh everyone could love. Not sure where you got Garrosh from but it is probably because of people like you that we had to kill him off. Thrall will continue to be forgotten now that the player is more powerful than Thrall. If you can not see what Metzen was doing with Thrall then you are just blind and biased. Go snap one off to his poster before you rage log.

No doubt we’re killing her as atleast a final boss unless she has some amazing comeback and they use her to lead or help out in shadowlands to restore the balance to the giant crack she made in the world

Btw, if there's gonna be more videos of the Evolution of Wow Characters, i wanna nominate Bolvar Fordragon! Other good characters would be Anduin, of course ( the only character in Azeroth that ages) but probably it would be better to wait a bit, to see how he develops tru Legion. And of course Illidan in a future once we know the whole deal with him in Legion.
Also i just realized that another character that have had a lot of evolution... is our own character... I mean think about it, we started as an unknown adventurer in Nortshire, we went int asist the armies of Westfall and look for the missing king. We spearheaded the 2nd incursion into Outlands, prevented Kill'jaeden from coming into Azeroth, we took down the Lich King and earned the tittle of "heroes", i mean in lore we are commanders of the Stormwind Armies in WoD and now we are Highlords! (if you are a paladin for example) And we wield the Ashbringer! Where ar we going next?!

I am a big fan of Sylvanas and the undead characters and the Tirisfal starting zones aswell. Tthe npc's are the funniest and interesting of all races.
I think her story is the story I am most familiar with. It such a tragic story. Nothing get her on her knees, she always raise.

As a Horde player, I feel deeply respectful to her when I play with my undead. I don't know, there is something about her that commands not only respect but true worship. The way she leads with things it's certainly not "right" to the main society eyes, but she is a desperate warrior that believes she is doing the best for her people leading her to "do what it takes" approach as long as she achieves her goals. I LooooVeeee Her and hope she will rise as a hero that even the Alliance can admire someday. Love the video!
What 5 years can change in a comment. I still like Sylvanus even after all the events that have happened. I love the book, I adore Patty's voice, and her tragic path to where she stands now is a bittersweet one. I hope to see more of her; there is a slim chance and I will hang onto it.

Sylvanas Windrunner.... very few NPCs in this game have gripped me as much as she has. Even though I'm primarily an Alliance member, I have a soft spot for Sylvanas. I can't really say when my affinity towards her started, nor what it is that draws me to her.
I'll be super pissed if they write her out of the game. I think that she could be a very effective leader for the Horde.

really awesome video. it might be worth mentioning of the Vareesa story that we got in the novel warcrimes. it really showed me that sylvannas still has a heart... until she was betrayed. hoping to get some sylvannas / vareesa / alleria action in legion where they all see each other and interact.

Jokes ( Or is it ? ) aside, I think she is gonna betray the Horde, or rather feel betrayed by it and just tell all the livings to f*ck off. Several people have been saying it for years, but right now she IS nearing a breaking point, having lost her sisters, the prospect of saving her people ( The forsaken ) becoming more and more dire, and the Horde only respecting her as long as she leads them the right way ( If even, as it looks like Vol'Jin only gave her the raid lead because he saw some vision, but otherwise did not like her ), which she might just not be able to comes Legion's end. Also, I don't know when Bolvar's storyline is gonna get resolved, but if it isn't by the next expansion, then he might just ally with Sylvanas to create a truly unstoppable force.
And I would love that. I mean I'd be so sad to see her die ( Well, permanently, that is ), but she'd be going in a blaze.

Yes, I goofed up there. I was talking from a horde perspective only and phrased myself badly. Since Anduin is back in command there are technically three alliance leaders from Vanilla ruling atm so this was a case of me being unclear. I have clarified what I meant in the description and with annotations.
Actually if you want to be techinical you have anduin now (just like in vanilla)

Sylvanas is awesome. She's the only person who is actually competent enough to be a war leader. And im not just saying that because all my characters are Forsaken.

We've had a lot of sad stories in WoW, I think for a twist I'd like to see this story do a complete 180 and actually lead to something happier. After what Arthus put her through, I want her rise like a phoenix in the end. I would like to see her restored to her original self, then reunite with her sisters and kicking butt. One can dream anyways. I would love to see a Windrunner questing area situation somewhere, with all three sisters in charge. I think it would make things a bit ironic. Jaina goes evil and Sylvanas turns good. I mean, Sylvanas is not a saint, by any means. But, I just want to see her to win in the end. To, me she is still a hero, because she went down fighting. She did not want this and Arthus robbed her of that.. Now, she faces the rest of her life being tormented. That is just not right to me. She seems like she is doing what ever she can to avoid death. Now, that she is warchief, it adds more motivation to stay alive. That's why I think she said, "In the end death claims us all.". So, I don't think she is as evil as people perceive her to be. I think she just feels she has no choice but to stay alive. It's possible she may be going a little insane, because of that reason. But, I still have hope for her yet.
I also wanted to add that, I play both sides. But, unfortunately Night Elves sided with the Humans. Honestly, why didn't the Night Elves just work it out with Thrall, at the time? How hard was it to just provide the lumber the orcs needed? I blame it on those tree hugging druids. Anyways, as an Alliance player, I agree with the Horde on this one. Give the Horde a break. It's been awhile since the Alliance had a big bad guy. We have our own nut jobs too.

while i wont quit wow if she is made a villain and a target, i think calling her a shitty character is far off the mark. the windrunner storyline (sylvanas, her two sisters, her mother lireesa, etc) is possibly one of the best written bits of lore in the world of azeroth. a person who dies trying to defend her homeland, then tortured, then gains power and fights back, then gets headstrong and goes a little nuts. it is a storyline that has incredible potential and depth, more-so than the other faction leaders ive read into. ill be ok with it if she does become a bad guy, but only because it would fit her storyline of letting her vengance go to her head and corrupt her.

Sylvanas has had my favourite character development in the entire Warcraft mythos. She has grown so much and she's such a badass. I also admire how she is always a wild card, it appears that most of her decisions are for the sake of her and the forsaken and for no one else but she manages to show some signs of will to do good every now and then, she even showed a glimmer of mortality when she was shocked by being named Warchief.

Sylvanas must have some hidden motives that we don't know about. A means to an end. She's still my favorite lore character (aside from Lilian Voss). I've been playing forsaken since day one, at first it was just because they looked cool, but I do love their history. However, what would happen to the forsaken if Sylvanas is killed? Is she not a big part of the reason the undead were able to break the control of the lich king, hence, Will of the Forsaken?
And so the hourglass sands fall and we see beneath the veil. I still love her.

Not fond of sylvanas(unfortunately due to the fans) but her lore is quite honestly the best, I hope her fate is influenced by the story and not by her fans.
