Do you have a sistematic process to establish when it is time to go on from what you are practicing today to new stuff (basically pure technique)? My problem : I cannot normally bring my studies to the bpm speed i want to because it would last forever, and of course I have also to integrate new material in my routine. What are the signs you notice (or the process you use) to put that particular thing to the side (and maybe revisit it in the future?) and bring in new stuff to learn? i hope this make some sense :D Thank you in advance and keep rockin´! maxx
Hi! Thanks for your question. I don't tend to adopt that sort of approach usually. I work on one thing until I nail it then I move onto something else. The further I progressed in my playing, I could learn things quicker and therefore juggle multiple new things I learned at the same time. All of the skills I gained fed into the new things I learned

Any tips on how to get rid of the annoying sound when playing legato and going from B string B note back to E string, please? Every time I lift that finger, it is a messy sound...

You copied these licks from the soloing he does on interviews for Synergy, etc lol bruh how do I know this? cause I tabbed these licks myself from THOSE videos. I recognized them instantly
I'd love to see those vids because I've known how to do these licks long before Vai ever joined Synergy. Old videos from this channel prove it since this is a remake of a video I did years ago. I learned a lot of this stuff without tabs (can't stand tablature) from the Whitesnake at Donnington gig, my own footage of Vai live that I've recorded and the awesome Jemini distortion demo he did on his TH-cam channel.
