XeSS looks better IMO from you example videos. But also I am curious how the performance and avg FPS would be if you lowered the FOV all the way, or just lower it 50%. Remnant 2 would definitely benefit from lower poly count models and simpler post processing for mobile
As soon as u get in the game. Theres a whole lot of artifacting everywhere. Buildings, cars everythkng doesn't fully render. I've tried a bunch of settings, unistalled and installed. Amd nothing. Any help?
@benchmarkbros no I have vram at 4gb. I'll try that. I got it to work in desktop mode. And it runs at 30-35. For some reason it just does the artifacting really bad in gaming mode. Thanks for the suggestion.
Honestly FSR looks really bad in this game, both on the steamdeck and my desktop. The crackling effect is really disappointing and ruins otherwise nice visuals. Is it FSR 1?
There have been some updates since launch, maybe we should try again. But yeah, the Steam Deck is going to have a hard time running these new UE5 games it seems.
It's why I play it on my PC what is the point. Runs like garbage. Certain games like baldurs gate 3 I will take the downgrade in graphics to give my PC a rest but this is not like that.

Is this with the CryoUtilities 2 settings?

That's a good idea, I think I'll give it a shot and try lowering the FOV.
how did it go?@@benchmarkbros
Pretty much the same results. @@Steelninja77
I gave up and deleted it from the deck a few days ago. Replaced it with Evil West since it's 50% off and great so far.

Have you tried setting VRAM to 8GB? I remember that AUTO wasn't working correctly last time I tested the game.

I can’t get more than 17 fps no matter what settings and it looks like an absolute potato.. disappointing as hell
With steam deck?

24 fps is fine 😂

The game runs like shit even in rigs with a 4090. It’s so badly optimized, that it’s laughable.
This means the mindset of the developers is out to scam and deliver undercooked stuff
