I've been watching a lot of anime these days and wanted to get to the bottom of our attachment to these fictional characters in this video essay. I'd love to hear what you thought of my takes, and thank you for watching!
I include my favorite anime protagonists from Jujutsu Kaisen, Bungou Stray Dogs, Death Note, Undead Murder Farce, Demon Slayer, Moriarty the Patriot, 91 Days, and Hell's Paradise. Mainly Gojo Satoru, Geto Suguru, Kento Nanami, Aki Hayakawa, Osamu Dazai, Yagami Light, Vanitas, Louis James Moriarty, Angelo Lagusa, and Tsugaru Shinuchi.
