I grew up watching the Dukes of Hazard . Every Friday night my sister and I would go spend the night at my grandma and grandpa's just to watch it. I miss those days.
It was Sunday night for our family at commercial break run to the wash room and get back quick in time for it to be back on again no reruns in those days or see it another day if you missed it on to the next week new episode and they would do a quick recap. Those days are long gone and the shows back in that time were better as far as I'm concerned when is the last time you ever hear of a family gathering around the TV once a week to watch a TV show since then never.
I found out about The Dukes Of Hazzard when my dad fell asleep with it on and I had no choice but to watch. It was best thing to ever happen! That was in 2000 when it was on TNN then it got moved to CMT.
Chunkey Monkey, it's great to see your interest in Dukes! I've met Bo, Luke and best of all Daisy. This show is so needed in today's world! Keep up the good work and don't back down! You're not alone.
I know Catharine Bach had a kid back in the 90's but she just let herself go she was young when she played Daisy. I'm just saying she could get herself back into shape at least.

At cooters last stand is where I meet sheriff little Don Pedro Conely. And a few other cast members and they signed the visors to my car (Daisy's roadrunner)

If you ever get out to pigeon Forge and go to the cooters place there I have a drawing of Bo duke there and I never got a picture of it it’s just a pencil drawing but I’d still like to see it
@@ChunkeyMonkey40 Definitely worth going next time. Luray caverns is spectacular, I've been in at least twice. Shenandoah caverns is nearby for some reason there's a lot of caves in this part of Virginia and it's also great but underrated. The entrance has like a house built around it some rich guy used to have an entrance to a cave in his house it's pretty awesome.

She said it was too young, then maybe when I grew up and became older she would think about it. I remembered the picture of her laying in a stack of broken hay bales, this is the picture that she autographed for me. I remember the occasion. I just don't have the personal autograph that she gave me anymore. Yet I do remember the memory of this. Have memories not things. You can't take it with you when you leave this earth. I had to dukes of Hazzard lunch box. I sold it for $25. I used to go over to my grandma's house to watch it. If she didn't turn it on I protest my parents and said 'call Grandma prior to coming and tell her to please turn on the dukes of Hazzard for me'. If she didn't I'm not going to Grandma's house. Yet she'd always do it. I'd sit in her living room and watch that television show.

He got some stuff wrong with the secrets of General Lee conveniently you could not leave a comment he said john Schneider the guy that played Luke Duke never jumped the car in the show he actually did during the starting credits of the show when it shows multiple scene's that one scene were you see john tense up and they jump the river he was actually in the car jumping the car he actually said so in the extras they did other jump as well but just little ones the big jumps after wards were done by stunt men, They did find the Charger in an episode but it was left by 2 thieves they got in the car took off and found a bag of diamonds in the dash board they kept the car tangerine orange is what they colored it with and Daisy painted the confederate flag on the roof the car afterward was done by other people. I know because I was a kid when this show can out and it was huge. I suggest people get the box set and watch the extras for true facts.
