A teacher my brother had in HS has a John W. Gacy painting hanging up in his classroom and I pointed out I knew that painting and was done by JWG.. his eyes widened. Turned out a few years after that teacher was arrested due to inappropriate photos on his laptop.
@@georgevasquez5597 can't remember his name... he wasn't my teacher but he use to work at Eastside Catholic High School in WA State which is even more unsettling.
Are you implying because he had that painting he had to be suspect? Lol. Not like there's tons of normal law abiding people into serial killers and their art.......
I'm glad he pointed out the Pogo/Gacy thing because I've seen these paintings go up for auction on legitimate sites, in museums, in personal collections, and I kept Wondering how the same paintings kept popping up everywhere. Well apparently Gacy Did quite a few versions of the piece.
Gacy would have other correctional clients do the portraits and then sign them when they were finished. They are still an interesting piece of art to have. I would love to live in this house.
This information is unfortunately not accurate. Gacy did not paint before he went to death row. There are letters from him which clarify when he began painting. He made roughly 2600 paintings in prison and hundreds of Pogos and Patches. Except in the early 1980s, Gacy used a stencil to create paintings. He would trace and retrace a stencil and also flipped the stencil...There's sadly no mystery. But you'd have had to know Gacy's routine to know. Someone else commented that Gacy had other inmates paint the work and then he would sign them. This is also untrue. The only paintings which fit that description were the paintings of birds. A death row inmate named Albanese did those. Then Gacy would sign them. They were also the only acrylic paintings he sold. Unfortunately veteran dealers still sell these bird paintings (called the "Signature Series" for a reason) as having been done by Gacy even though they know better.
Great thumbail. When I see Pogo the clown I think of acid bath "when the kite string pops," album. They used Jack Kevorkians "for he is raised" painting on their second album cover.
This guy is a nut! I mean, keeping this museum quality history in his home?! And in his downstairs bathroom!!?? His displays are quite good, professional. Excellent subject, Jordan. Cool vlog! This guy is a walking encyclopedia!

He's definitely got some quality historic items on display at his home, nice. Jordan, definitely got to check out that museum he spoke of when on your travels, sounds awesome. Quality vlog 👌.
What a collection. A lot of killers write back if you send them a letter in prison. I remember hearing a guy bought a bunch of Gacy paintings then burned them in the 90s. My grandpa also brought back some coffee cups and saucers with swastikas on them from WW2, my dad sold them in a rummage sale once.

Night stalker was in San Quentin with my grandpa and I guess they had to move him to another section of the prison and had to walk him through the visiting room where I was visiting my grandpa at the time. I remember he had 2 guards in front of him, 2 on this side and 2 in the back... I was probably 2 feet away from him and he stared me down the whole time he walked passed me. It was VERY CREEPY!
What's up Doc , now that a collection worthy of being in a museum . Love the passion and Jackie Kennedy Onassis dresses 👗. Thanks for introducing him Jordan.

Wow what a collection this guy has. Really cool stuff. I’m sure we only saw a very small proportion of what he’s got. The Rocky motorcycle was super cool. Great job Jordan
Hi Jordan, really enjoyed seeing some of Martin's memorabilia. Well, I've seen things here today that I never thought I would see in my life. To see Hitler's wine cooler, stained leather pieces from the JFK car and Jacque's dresses to name but a few, what a collection. I know I wouldn't have a party with all that on display. Great vlog Jordan.
That’s the first I’ve heard about btk being a horrible person in his community. Everything I’ve seen said he was like a great person because he hid all the killings for years. He was a deacon in his church. He volunteered with his sons Cub Scout troop.. he was a compliance officer.
Jordan, this guy's collection is down right amazing & something we'd never get to see or know it exists without you. You do such amazing work. Class A! Planning on traveling to Pizza Boy for the fabulous meet up to meet you.

What an interesting and diverse collection. I noticed that he has some Monkees autographs on display and wonder if he has any other Monkees memorabilia.

All this is interesting but, I don't think I want nothing from a serial killer in my home. I'd be worried about the negative energy attached to the items. Especially after they died. Energy live on. I'm not saying I would not visit a museum like this, but buying items and having them in a home I live in. Nope. This guy is brave. I have children and I would not want to expose them to things drawn by serial killers. Not in my home. But to each his or her own.
