    On Vietnam's National Web Portal on Immigration, I can see that E-Visas are "valid" for a MAXIMUM of 90 days. Does this mean that I can get an e-Visa that will allow me to stay in the country for 90 days, or will I have to do a visa run 30 days after I first entered the country?

    how many times can you do border run with tourist visa?

      There is no limit. Entry acceptance is based on the immigration officer's discretion, as the IO will. determine whether the purpose of entry is tourism.

    So Ken, what you are saying is that a plane flight will take longer to get your new visa or legal status.?

    • @duongglobalbusinessconsulting

      A visa run takes about 2-3 days to apply for a new visa outside Vietnam either by plane or van, getting a new visa sticker. A border run does not require to submit a visa application. It can be done by just crossing the border by road, rail, or air and come right back

      @@duongglobalbusinessconsulting Thank you much for this clarification. I see now why many people do the border run. Less hassle, less time lost and you can do it in one day. Great channel, Ken.

    I saw someone in another of your videos on the comments state that Vietnam stopped doing these Border runs? Is that true?

    • @duongglobalbusinessconsulting
      @duongglobalbusinessconsulting  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      As Vietnam closed its borders due to the pandemic, people are de facto unable to do border runs. Even if it takes a long time for Vietnam to reopen, border runs will be back when travel restrictions will be removed.

    So if I on a 30 day tourist Visa and I have to do a border run, what does it cost to have it stamped and renewed for another 30 days? or is there even a fee ?

    • @duongglobalbusinessconsulting
      @duongglobalbusinessconsulting  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It depends on the tourist visa. Is it an e-visa? Is it a regular tourist visa? Single or multiple entry? Please specify and we will give you an accurate answer.

      @@duongglobalbusinessconsulting Mine is a tourist e-visa single entry.

    • @duongglobalbusinessconsulting
      @duongglobalbusinessconsulting  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Then, it is a visa run, and not a border run. You will have to apply for the e-visa again and pay the fee. If you have done it by yourself, you will have to do the same process. Or we have a service for that too. If you are interested and want a law firm to handle your visa process, please send us an email at contact@duongbusinessconsulting.com

      @@duongglobalbusinessconsulting I just went through Duong Global and it looks like I just received the wrong visa them. I was under the understanding that I would be doing 30 day border runs etc, and now I find out I have completely the wrong visa. oh my word!

    • @duongglobalbusinessconsulting
      @duongglobalbusinessconsulting  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You got the right visa, as for the moment only the e-visa (tourist) is available. And before processing the visa, we always specify the following in introductory emails to make sure there is no misunderstanding: "e-visas are usually granted for a period of stay of 30 days, single entry. Thus, once your visa stay expires, you need to renew the e-visa."

    This is so stupid. They are all border runs, just some people need a new visa and some don't.
    This guy just makes things more confusing.
    PS actual expatriates don't need to do all this nonsense. You're speaking to back packers, migrant workers and other vagabonds...
