Can't tell you how weird it is looking up a hill test for this specific bike and realising it's filmed on the same route as you plan to commute (Marina to Whitehawk). Thanks for the super specific video!

Lol, I live in Woodingdean and recognised Wilson's Avenue straight away as I was up there recently on my Haibike FullSeven.
Interesting hill vid for this bike which is what drew me in originally, I just bought an A20+ which I've reprogrammed. I was thinking about the same route home from work as I go in the office to Hove once per week. Good to see as I'm thinking short(er) sharp shock on some of the other steeper hill routes or Wilson's. As you say, you just need enough oomph to not have to pedal constantly on a long climb but looks like that's not the case.

Great video, thought I recognised that muddy track at Black Rock! I live near here and the hill at Wilson avenue must be some test for an e bike. Brighton is a very hilly city being on chalk downland i'll keep watching your videos to see what makes the grade.

The tires on this are very loud. That's why people stare. Changing them to road tires will help with the sound levels.
