If only Scarlet/Violet was given more time... Unlike Sword & Shield, and even many other 3DS era games, SV was just the perfect match of something new, yet familiar. The formula was there, but you still had once again that joy of discovering new things, especially with the open world map. It wasn't perfect, and I don't just talk about the serious bugs, but there were some questionable design choices. 1:48 messes me up every time. It's a break from all the chaotic instruments to remind us of how tragic this fight really is. You're not just fighting some evil robot that's hell-bent on fulfilling its programming; you're fighting a ghost. A ghost who nobody knew had even left us in the first place. A ghost who never got to know your face or name... Did the real Sada/Turo truly care about recreating their ideal paradise - creating their own treasure - above all else, even if was borderline illogical and/or dangerous to Paldea? Nobody will know for sure; they're no longer around to tell us.
The notes from the research stations and the AI's last lines to the whole party denote that they did this out of love. They actually, in my opinion, went insane because the other professor left them. They intended the paradise to be a safe haven of happiness for their family as well for them 3. When the other professor left not too long after arven was born (before he was 4) the other prof left. The one that stayed, had the burden of everything thrust on them. It was right after the other left, they denoted needing more help and more people finishing with "if only there were two of me". The creation of the AI was the seal. They needed support and balance, but they got abandoned and had to look after themselves. literally.
I think that will be saved for DLC where the other Professor will show up and clear things up and reveal that walked out the relation not out of spite but due to their research being more dangerous and they didn't want Arven to get hurt or killed, they had no idea how dangerous the time machine was or that their ex is dead and battled the MC and Arven as a ghost in a machine.
That's why my DLC prediction is that the other Professor would return to explain why they left and it wasn't out of spite but they saw the big picture and the other Professor didn't, in fact they will be utterly heart broken learning of the events and wish they stayed, they are extremely grateful to player for being their and promise to be a more supporting parent and less of a scientist, there would be a cool moment where a part of the DLC big bad would attack the player Arven only for Turo/Sada to go Pap wolf/ Mama bear get to see their legendary Pokemon, and of course they will battle the player to see if they are ready for the task at hand of dealing with what created Area Zero and the source of the tera crystals.
