Excellent video. Love village life and authentic village cooking using primitive accessories. Very tasty and healthy food as it is prepared with lots of love, dedication and with an intention to share food. We city dwellers miss such wonderful village life. I some how ended up teaching Personality Development, Creativity and Innovation - a non core paper for UG students of Bangalore University on part time basis. I find the text books rubbish and the methodology of exam etc as non sense as students are not at all interested in those subjects. Therefore, I often play videos such as yours where interested students can see our village life, ancient architecture, traditional art etc. and appreciate the same. I share with them that, true Personality Development is in our villages. The sports and brain storming games are better learnt in villages. True creativity can be experienced in these primitive techniques where you don't disturb or endanger the environment much. These villagers are so beautiful with their natural beauty and artistic skills in each and every aspect of their life. I just miss this so much. Thanks for all your videos. Love them.

I myself has done this job including grinding in eandiram in my village at my young age. Now I'm 67. Very very happy to watch. For the Porulanga urundai we used to add 200gm kadalai paruppu and payatham paruppu also. The most wonderful protein receipie,but forgotten. Thanks for reminding.

OMG! My Grandma used to make this, and this used to be a family event for Deepavali preparation. Everyone in the family will join hand to make this urundai. But, my Grandma used to add dried ginger and dried roasted coconut pieces to it. No one in the family does it now in my family after my late Grandma. Cooking culture seems to be very good with team work, bhumi sudhha and in natural environment. What are the ingredients and what is done, I don't know.
There are lot of memories and stories behind this video, reminded me everything that i have lost during this heck city life, i feel like going back to this old life once again.
