I have the zenbook duo half screen and it's perfect for me. Not sure how often I personally would need two full screen displays but for content creators and business folk who often multi-task, I can see this as essential. Awesome
They focused on the performance and not so much on the looks, which is good, I had an HP laptop that was polished shiny purple is was gorgeous, but performance-wise it was junk attractive junk, very nice laptop review, I might have a closer look.
thank you for the review. i can totally see myself with this. i bought a cheapo external monitor for my laptop. putting an external monitor next to my laptop takes too much horizontal real state. it makes so much sense stackign them. i am thinking about changing my work from three horizontal screens to two stacked vertically set up too
Thank you for the comprehensive review of the laptop. I would like to get your thoughts on the offset of the dual screens. Does that bother you in your normal use, and does it interfere with the transitional view from one screen to the next? Thanks.
i had old laptop still have it has ink in screen and close to speaker it says dolby cinema does it mean it had dolby cinema support ? laptop is acer aspire v3
Will you be doing a video showing how easy or how hard it is to replace the mother board battery, or will it be a visit to the local computer shop to have that job done.
Hi Britec09 Have you any recommendations? I need new Laptop? 14 / 15" HD Full or Oled. Asus, Acer, Lenovo, HP, Dell? I need a powerful Laptop and it should work with Adobe Photoshop & Video editing. SSD 1 or 2TB Ram minimum 16 or 32GB. THANKS FOR GREAT Channel.
Hi brian good morning my name is ricardo i don't know how to do it so am asking u please if it is possible if u can do a video showing me how to install a recovery programs on my PC called Recuva thank u 🙏🏽
Lack of a separate numeric keypad makes it useless for large excel files or those with large numeric data which one might want to enter quick. Ie as in estimating, Quantity surveying etc.
@@RK-um9tu Ok so how does one enter data fast with the numeric pad on the top row.? i have been involved in estimating for years & had to enter figures all day long. I could not have operated at an efficient pace without a decent key pad. may I respectfully suggest that you clearly do not understand such issues & need to accept advice from those that do
You can solve it by purchasing a wireless/Bluetooth numeric numpad (like the Microsoft one), which is actually better than having it on your keyboard if you're predominant hand is the right one, so you can continue using the mouse with your right hand and crunch your numbers with the left one
I love this new laptop and I am not surprised it is an Asus. Since I discovered this brand, I loved it. Due to pricing I have tried other laptops too, but this will bring me back, though it is pricy in the Netherlands. I considered a lenovo yoga book 3, but it has a smaller screen and I think this laptop has more power. I only miss the tent modus. I have a large iPad, so I will not miss the tablet modus, but as a coder I like the multiple screens
hey man , 2024-01 Security Update for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5034441) this not updateable , i try everything and it will not budge ...i did your way and it failed to work , last resort reinstall windows which i really dont want to do , it takes for ever to backup lol
Coming from the perspective of someone who has the Lenovo Yogabook 9i, I think I have some perspective to offer: In favor of the Asus 1. I love the Keyboard of the Zenbook Duo. I wish mine had a trackpad like the Asus one does. I also like that it can charge via the pogo pins 2. I love the integrated kickstand. Using an origami stand with the Lenovo can feel a little sketchy at times... Not always, but I'd take the kickstand if given the choice 3. Everything with the Asus folds up into a package that's easier to carry 4. Hardware for hardware, the price appears roughly the same, but with Asus making an offer at about 1500 USD, it's a little more accessible to get a device with this form factor. In favor of the Lenovo 1. The Bowers and Wilkins speakers really do sound good. Time will tell with the Asus, but it's a high bar to beat 2. 360 degree hinge capability can be welcome in some confined situations 3. Personally, I've had problems with Asus laptop hardware before. Not every time, but more than once, and enough to make me hesitant about spending upwards of 2000 USD with them. Other 1. Contingent and situational: It would be awesome if the Zenbook Duo could run Linux better than the Lenovo. It does work on the lenovo, but it does require some configuration, and comes at the cost of the drivers for the included speakers. 2. It would be awesome if either laptop had a mode to join the panels when the device is on it's side and the displays are vertical. Even with the speaker in the middle of the Lenovo, it's not too big of a bezel issue, and it would be awesome to have 2 halves of a unified 19 inch display
Where I live Asus has no onsite warranty you must bring it to their local service center for serious hardware failures eg motherboard, I had a 2015 zenbook with Windows 8.1 it never had any BIOS updates when Windows 10 released. Won't recommend Asus as HP, Dell, Lenovo have constant BIOS updates for all their products compared to Asus

That is utter nonsense. Might as well say, the lack of dual screens makes a laptop for large Excel files...

it would be the most versatile laptop if it had a god damn xg mobile IO!!!

too thick of middle hinge😅
If versatility is the benchmark, lenovo got there first...

Now they need to make one with a dedicated graphics card; integrated graphics are garbage.
