    The manual says to NOT use metal tongs or other metal in your Speedi as it will ruin the nonstick coating.

    Thank you! Just curious what happens if you put the chicken at the same time as the pasta from the beginning?

    • @realfoodprep
      @realfoodprep  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It will just be possibly done before pasta, but use a thermometer and pull chicken when done.Thanks for watching

    New to the Speedi (and Ninja products in general), so I'm looking for good recipes. Someone on Facebook mentioned this TH-cam channel. Glad I found it -- looks like great ideas for Speedi recipes. Are those breasts thin because they've been sliced, as in butterflied? If not, where do you get them that thin?

    • @realfoodprep
      @realfoodprep  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Welcome aboard! The breast are the Perdue Free Range Thin cut, but I do butterfly if they are big, but the speedi can handle big pieces I would just pound them so they are even. I LOVE all things Ninja but this Speedi has helped me tremendously with healthy weeknight meals and skipping the drive thru on busy days. Thanks for Watching!

    What kind of cream are you using?

    • @realfoodprep
      @realfoodprep  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Heavy cream will give you the creamiest texture but I usually use half and half. Thanks for watching!

    Very nice but your asparagus is dead.... I think it would improve immensely had it been cooked for about 3-3 mins and not 10. Otherwise, looks great.

      Yes, it was! I do like char but was overdone. LOL! This was one of the first meals I tried in the speedi but has been one of the viewer favs, so it is probably worth doing a updated version. Thanks for watching!

    This is NOT healthy! Butter, salt, etc. Is there anyone in your family NOT on blood pressure medication?

    • @realfoodprep
      @realfoodprep  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      This definitely is not how we eat every day, but this is real food made quick and easy and is definitely better than going through the drive thru or any prepackaged meals. Some of our early videos were made much differently than how I prepare meals today, with more healthier alternatives. Everything in moderation and most of our videos reflect a real food healthy meal plan that works for us. Me and my husband have actually lost over 25 lbs each and improved our overall health by preparing 99% of the meals we eat and removing junk, sugar and bad oils from our diet. I definitely do not claim to be an expert on "healthy meals" but to answer your question, NO, we are very blessed and none of our family is currently on blood pressure meds. Thanks so much for watching!
