It's no wonder mooring posts have to be repaired with the idiots on the Woods boat nearly knocking it out of the ground. The bloke even had the nerve to say "you did quite well there".....really 🤔
@@jonnytreehouse haha my first ever attempt at mooring was St Benet's abbey had two boats behind, two Infront had to pull my first ever I turn in/on a boat and all gaps were taken except one which when I finally did my first u turn and lined the boat with the dock it turns out the bloke on the mooring said it was a drop off point.Mother.....r lmao
Forgot to say my first mooring and depart was without bow thruster,I swear and hope I'm not the only one that thinks boats need some sort of indication system like cars,is stressful when your new to it and you have regulars and day boaters and you getting accustomed to it.
@@icooper5236 I agree. In Australia you need to have a licence to drive any boat faster than 8 km/hour (I think that’s the speed) I decided that I wanted to buy a yacht quite late in life. I completed a seamanship course run by a sea captain and then went for my drivers license. I also did a lot of one on one sailing lessons on a twenty seven foot yacht which did not have an engine. This was run by a retired navy gunners officer. After all this I bought a yacht and, while I still had a lot to learn a was capable enough to sail on crowded Sydney harbour. Perhaps something less but similar needs to apply to these river boat skippers?
Where did you find the sun? Crumbs didnt they make hard work of mooring. If only they would let the tide do the work , basic boating moor into the tide.
Thank you for another stressful bridge video. All the best from Sydney Australia 🇦🇺
Another great video,
Thanks 😊
Thanks for another great video, too short❤👍
Thanks for watching 😊 the first edit was an hour long!
Good footage 👍
Nice shot of Thunder! 😊
Just for you Jean!
The boatyards do not give enough instruction to first timers. The video proves the point!
Their risk, their choice. They do exactly what experience over decades has taught them.

first like, woot, 17 men 16 to watch and 1 to do some work!!
Not idiots, first timers enjoying a learning curve! Frustrating to watch though
Couldn't agree more👍
Absolutely, we all have to have a first time.
They had my sympathies
First time driving a boat not easy !😮😅
I agree! I may tell you all about the first time I tried to moor up at How Hill! 🙈 it was painful!

We have all had those “issues” … and everyone sits around looking superior.

did that boat ever get moored up lol you could put music to it
Yeah they did eventually
Astral Light not the ideal boat for a novice. 44ft long. No bow thruster. Turning circle of a skyscraper.

That would be telling! Lol 😂

I had to google that as I had no idea what you meant! Thanks for the tip.
Idiots in general nothing to do with the weather or tide
