They got up to get to the steps. So that they could be in the procession to take the Queen to where she was to be put in the hearse to Windsor. They were there to support their dad who didn’t have anybody beside him. If they had stayed in their seats they would have been caught behind all the other Royals that would be in front of them. Nothing unusual about it.

I think Bea is a genuine person and really loved her Granny..Her wedding was the best of the lot I thought cos it was so sweet and personal with the Queens dress, her grandparents were so happy and proud. It showed how loving their relationship was and I think Bea knew she was gonna lose it so went out to have a good cry. Her sister went with her as supportive sisters do. Xx
They didn't lower the coffin at the funeral..but at the later service at Windsor.

That was a really sweet gesture, they wanted to curtsy to the Queen one last time.
They moved in to position to give their final curtsey to the Queen as her coffin was being carried back out of the church. Nothing sinister just respect and love to their grandmother.

Beatrice is still a councillor of state however she is bottom of the list following princess Ann and prince Edward who replaced Andrew and Harry

It’s a mark of honour in royal courts to the departed for a family member to curtsy to the coffin on there journey out of the church or cathedral . Nothing odd here what so ever !

Think they both are wonderful and the King Charles should make the “working Royals” if at all possible. Because Eugenie is out of the country now because of her husband’s job, that may not be possible for her.

they were the ROYAL women who needed to go with the other family members to the Arch when the Queens coffin was moved to the hearst. At first I was like why are they leaving but they needed to get out to be able to get in a car to get to the Arch.

Both the sisters dearly loved their granny. Beatrice was seen crying in Prince Philip's memorial service. So one can assume their state of mind during the Queen's funeral. They just couldn't have sit there much longer..they would've either broke down or fainted.
