Many people just say “how can you be so emotional when it’s your grandparent” Well the answer is that when you grow up your half childhoodand adulthood with your grandparents and they lived long enough to have so many nice memories with them, then yes. You will cry a river at their funeral or memorial. I cried so much at my great-grandmother’s funeral cause I lived memories with her for 23 years.

It’s even worse if you were raised by them, like myself. People don’t understand what you’re going through and you don’t get the understanding, support and sympathy like you would if it were more immediate family. No one should criticize anyone’s grief when it comes to a loved one. You really have no idea what someone’s relationship was with someone. I’d never pass judgment like that. If someone does, it just screams narcissism to me. Or lack of understanding what it feels like to lose someone close. In that case, good for them. I hope they never feel it.

I cried and cried when my Gram passed. It was 29 years ago and I still cry over losing her. She was my Earth Angel. God sent us Grandparents as backup in case our own parents weren't up to the task. Nothing would make me happier than having her there to greet me when I take that journey from here!

So did I and I’m not a granddaughter. I think we all recognized the frailty of human life in that moment when the Queen entered by the side entrance. Somehow it felt so final... was her last attendance at Westminster Abbey the last time we will see her make that long walk to her seat? The fanfare at the door? She has been the Queen all my life and much of my mother’s. It will be such a devastating day when she is no longer with us. I think this hit home for Beatrice. She loves her grandmother and adored her grandpa. It’s so hard to lose loved ones, especially ones that have been our rock. I’m sure she was thinking of Harry too. Whatever he has done, a loving family cannot just switch off love or feel the longing for the better times. I pray that God heals their hearts and blesses the Queen with a better year going forward as we all celebrate her life long service. She is truly a marvel, one we will not see again in our life times at any rate, if ever. God Bless you all. 💕🇿🇦

My heart went out to Princess Beatrice when I saw her crying. I wished I could to give her a warm comforting hug together with a tissue and tell her that it is ok to cry in public due to grieving for the loss of such a beloved person like Prince Philip. These tears showed her heart to me and how much she cares. Additionally the grieving process is very intimate and individual. It takes as long as it takes. My moms death was 10 years ago and it sometimes still feels like it happened yesterday. Especially on such occasions where the family used to come together like Easter, Pentecost or Christmas. Or even mothers day and birthdays.

Then WHY did the Queen have a child with Lord Porchester? Why did she put her lover on her personal payroll from 1969 until he DIED in 2001? WHY did she travel the world (Kentucky, Saudi Arabia, Ireland) with Porchy (aka Henry Herbert), looking at horses to buy?
WHY did she allow her nasty mother to nag and bait Philip (for being poor)? WHY did she ALWAYS take her mother's side against Philip?
WHY did her mother prefer "Porchy" while her father preferred Philip?
The Queen mum had wanted Elizabeth to marry Porchy because he owned Highclere Castle (aka Downton Abbey, where the series was filmed, plus he came with the title (7th Earl of Carnarvon) and her daughter would become a Countess, plus a lot of gold from Tutankhamen (the 5th Earl brought it back), plus 5,000 acres and is located about 30 miles south of Windsor Castle. WHY did her mother ratchet up her attacks on Philip AFTER George VI died? From 1952 on, the Queen mum was HORRID to Philip until she drove him away in 1959.
The Queen (age 33) went right to her old boyfriend (Henry Herbert was 35) and she quickly became pregnant with Andrew in May of 1959.
The Queen really stuck it to Philip for 42 years (from 1959, when she became pregnant with Andrew, through 2001 when Porchy died).
The Queen had the equivalent of TWO husbands!
And, Beatrice KNEW that Philip was NOT her grandfather. She knew that Charles was then "free" to slim down the monarchy which put her and Eugenie out in the cold! Her histrionics seemed like a bit of "over-acting" to spur old Edo on!

I think so many of us have shed tears at the passing of Prince Philip and Queen Elizabeth II and at the funerals and memorial services. An era that will never be forgotten, or surpassed. How lucky that we had such an amazing Queen for so long. Never autocratic, never haughty, just a human being carrying out a role it was never expected she would have. .

When I my sister and a friend visited Cowes during the late 70’s when we were around 14 years old we saw, him and Edward, behind the main high street walking with body guards, the group stopped in the distance just to stare and grin at us, we realised who they were as we got slightly closer.

And it shows where Beatrice’s loyalties lie, where her heart lies, recalling the beautiful photographs of her wedding day, wearing one of her grandmother’s dresses, remodelled for the day and - it being a time of heavy covid restrictions - her two grandparents as guests and included of course in the wedding photographs. Her heartfelt emotional response - and Edo’s evident attentiveness here, and in other photographs - reinforces the truth of accounts of she and her sister no longer being as close as once they were. Beatrice’s sister, Eugenie, of course, being close to the traitorous conspicuously absent Montecito former prince, and allegedly the family mole.

Oh come on, stop trashing Prince Harry. I have not heard accounts of she and Eugenie not being close anymore. Then again both are married with families, therefore it does make sense if their bond is not as tight as it use to be. Hopefully once Harry clears things up with the security issues,he and Meghan will be back in England again. Yes there are hard feelings on both sides, but hopefully time will heal.

I even cried at my mother-in-law’s funeral because after over 40 years of knowing her I loved her very much. But I am a sensitive person. I don’t like goodbyes. My fathers parents were British and we only saw them every few years for a few weeks at a time, but those weeks were wonderful occasions and we shared beautiful times together. When my Grandad passed away, I was 13 and 6 months after him passing away I went through a whole month of mourning. It had taken me awhile to catch up to the heartache I felt of losing my grandfather. I remember it, I cried for a whole month and even my parents were baffled somewhat.

I only hope that someday I will get to meet them when I pass. My time gets closer now. But I live in hope that I will see them all when I go. Lord please grant me my wish.
