@@merrillymerrilly8935 of course she spent time with her children, especially during family holidays and Christmas. She was an incredibly hard working woman, doing a job she neither asked for or wanted, but she did and did it marvellously.

I have a daughter who is gifted that way. I’m so proud of her. And she’s married to my favorite son-in-law and I’m proud of him too.

How could she, who showed up to a boy who visited the cathedral as if he were working in a small Italian city, and barked a new song under the name of Beatrice, set up a royal palace in England and continued like a family, starting with no people in Europe? It must be quite weird for Beatrice now... given Harry has stepped away and her father Andrew is in disgrace, effectively she is the second adult in line to the throne after William.
They should do a DNA test on those two. They look nothing like the rest of the royal family .Neither does Andrew. At the time the Queen was great friends with her racing manager Lord Porchester with whom she had a lifelong friendship. More than a likeness between Andrew and him. Not only that, Andrew always received special consideration and attention and, according to household staff as he was growing up, he was worse than a spoiled tyrant for it. As has been pointed out more than a few times, it was rare the times he didn't get his way.
So by your reasoning they would still be royal as the queen would still be their granny as she would still be the mother of Andrew but Philip wouldn't be hus father, thus still royal
