I've been bitten by sharks many, many times. Never in the sea though, normally in the bank, car mechanics, estate agents.......
LOL!
...Lawyers, Mothers in Laws...
Lmao!! 😅
😂😂😂
Hahahaha 😂😂😂
Why is everyone so shocked at seeing a shark in the ocean? That's where they live!
I don't live in the ocean. oh you meant the sharks LOL .
A little tip. Don’t swim near piers where people are fishing. You’re welcome.
Or where grumpy old men secretly chum the waters
I’m terrified of sharks but honestly it looks like it’s just trying to get by 😂 “excuse me ‘xcuse me coming through” 🦈
😂😂😂
why is everyone not moving away and just standing there haha
so well-mannered, sharkee mama raised him right 😅
🤣👏👏👏💜
Yep. And then it decides you look like food. Too late.
Be cautious.
They live in the ocean-- all of it-- sometimes close to shore-- when you enter the ocean you are in their territory-
People spotted dangerously close to sharks. Hope the sharks are ok.
hope the sharks eat all of the idiots first.
Breaking news! Sharks live in their natural habitat! Let’s all freak out!
Imagine that. Sharks in the ocean. Who'd of guessed that.
They usually live in the woods.
Typical americans
I like the dads. Not going too far and waving their kids in like. If you make it, great. If you don't, that's great too.
ya why isnt anyone moving away?
I almost spit out my coffee. Thank you. 🤣👏💜
I think its wonderful that the wild life is returning.
I am Florida's toughest swimmer I have TH-cam videos to prove that bull sharkes circled me wile swimming fare out in the gulf of Mexico

You should celebrate with a ocean swim!
with an appetite! There not on meth anyway !
They don’t invade a beach it belongs to them
And to humans.
Do you people not know that Long Island Sound is where the sharks breed?! And you LIVE in New York?! They travel all the way up the east coast!
They should keep that beach closed for the sharks to do their thing. Eff humans
@@melissawright5716Agreed. Shark Lives Matter…..
Never knew that.
The Florida shark is a hammerhead. Happens frequently, hunting stingrays not people.
Correction, multiple people invade NY shores! Sharks already live there, so just leave them alone! Don’t go into their home!!!!
exactly ! The #1 reason I'm 48 an haven't been in the ocean ! and for those who enjoy being a Top Water Bait , Goodluck
Best comment!! 👍🙂
BS, it's our home too, animal worshiper.
If we’d quit polluting the water and killing the fish the sharks would be other places
Poor little angels are hungry.
Wrong. Ya dummy. Most fish spend their time in relatively shallow waters so sharks are going to be there. They have plenty to eat.
It's the juveniles white sharks(great white) that you need to worry about because they are more likely to attack humans because of lack of experience and poor water visibility .they will eat you! Juveniles are 6 to 8 feet in length. I know that's not small but it is compared to the adult great whites(15-20 feet long 😳) the adults rarely attack humans unless the water is murky and you are looking like a seal or splashing as if you are injured or in distress in murky water. A word of advice to surfers too is if you are gonna wear Black wetsuits then paint a white stripe along the length of the suits on both sides because the great white will think you are the poisonous coral snake and they will not mess with that snake! They are black with a white stripe and the adult great whites will not come very close to you once they see the white stripe on the black wetsuit. That shark in all those beach goers in the water may have been a hammerhead cause they will chase their prey into the shallows just like this shark seems to be doing
If a shark is hungry, it will feed on you. You should never be in the open ocean. The ocean can be just as barren as the desert if not more, as far as food sources. So if you come across an open sea shark, like a white tip.. its going to aggressively attack you and feed on you. It doesnt care what you are. As well as a tiger shark. Theyve literally been found with license plates in their stomach and pieces of cars, that fall off cargo ships. People have no reason to be in the middle of the ocean, like that. You cant breathe under water, and God put a bunch of things that will kill you. not just sharks.. get stung by a box jelly fish.. if you dont have someone to stop you from drowning, you die. Instant paralysis in the water = drowning. The ocean is just as bad as the jungle, because its glamorized in movies and tv.. you think its a game. And because they pay to cover up shark attacks, as it would absolutely destroy tourism in those places, if people had any idea they were literally swimming with predators aware of their presence.. go watch the tiger shark in egypt literally eat someone. they found his head and arms in its stomach. letting your kids in the water with apex predators.. or yourself.. is beyond silly to me. 80% of attacks take place in shallow water. go to a lake or a pool. the ocean is for fishing and boats. not for you to swim next to monsters because you think its pretty, thats incredibly stupid.
The one in Florida looked like a hammerhead judging by the shape of the dorsal fin and if it was it was in all likelihood looking for stingrays. Now a lil' FYI, NEVER wear anything shiny IE; jewelry, watches into the water, the shark sees a flash off what your wearing thinks it's a fish and you have a story to tell along with the scares.
The one in Florida looks like a Hammerhead hunting Stingrays, and Sand tiger sharks are actually rather docile, usually attacking humans only in self-defense.
I am Florida toughest swimmer I have TH-cam videos to prove that bull sharks have circled me while swimming far out in the Gulf of Mexico
@@alexeatonexploresamerica5511 I believe you 👍
But still, the first clip looks like a Hammerhead hunting stingrays 😊
I thought that is what species it could be. Probably annoyed at all the obstacles--legs--in the way of its lunch. I live on Long Island and swim in the ocean, we know they're there and most respect them. Maybe the NYC dwellers who come to the island forget or don't realize that the ocean is shared.
How are sharks invading their home???
The shark in the Florida clip is a great hammerhead. Tall, curved dorsal fin gives it away.
Great observation!
i think it was hammerhead shark on the beach on video. And this is absolutely normal.
Your thumbnail says 'Sharks Invade Long Island Beach'.. "invade"? No no, it should be Humans "invade" the beach where Sharks are the natural part of the ecosystem.... Don't say stuff like shark "infested" waters... It sounds like calling cities Human infested places..
Relax bud.....help is on the way, can't just sit back and watch you drown in anger
@@E13v3N1 lol ..buddy.. i am not angry... Just throwing some light on statements that need correction
Right! Humans have been like cockroaches on this planet. Invading virtually every nook and cranny without concern for Earth's other inhabitants. The arrogance is astounding! I would not be surprised if more species don't start defending their territory vigorously.
If the water tastes salty, there are sharks in it.
The news story title should be..Humans move lower on the food chain when they enter oceans/seas.
Ive told folks for years that black powder is the only reason we are on top of the food chain and not sure what good that is in the ocean
@@brianpinion5844 Rats can kill you if you break both legs. A spike whitetail buck can gore you to death.
so sharks now 'invade' the ocean huh. last time i checked thats where they live, they were there first and thats their territory
A shark in the ocean????? NOOOOO😮
That’s a hammerhead no doubt following a fish. Sand tiger sharks are no more dangerous than dogs. Been studying sharks for 30+ years.
You take your chances
This was a hammerhead looking for its favourite meal- stingrays.
We completely forgot that they are the real owners of the ocean. We are the intruders.
so many would be alive if they understood your comment
BS. We have a right to live on this planet, animal worshiping fool.
the atlantic ocean on the east coast is murky, I am surprised they could see them
There was no "invasion"--they live there
More like " beach goers get really close to a shark!" ITS THE OCEAN!!!!!
I've surfed in Long Beach (Long Island). Awesome beautiful little town different from the rest of the island. Happy I was unaware there were sharks there lol
I live in Pensacola & we get a lot of hammerheads in the shallows here. It happens even when there's a lot of people out. They come into shallow water for sting rays, which you can see if you walk the beach along Pensacola or Perdido (or Navarre or anywhere along here) pretty much any afternoon or evening.
That’s why you rent a room at hotel on the beach that has a swimming pool. 😂🤣
Remember humans are in there home not the other way around
You don't say
Relax its a dolphin 🐬
The florida shark looks like a hammer (shape of the dorsal) hunting stingrays. Probably not a danger.
Great hammerhead
It would been so satisfying to have seen the shark snatch one of them
Regardless of the species , you see the fin you see the tail I am out of there. This is how we should all think for our own safety
Problem is u never see them when it's a fatal bite, element of surprise
The oceans and seas belong to various fish etc etc. But, human beings feel that it belongs to only human beings.
yes , humans love being a Top Water Bait ! I can think of a million ways my dumbass may die but shark food isnt one of them
Ocean is not for Humans. The Land is. We don't need to go into the Ocean to survive and now Humans have polluted the Ocean so much with plastic that the fish that come from the Ocean are full of plastic. I don't fish anymore because of that. Not only that the Ocean is over fished. By not eating fish for a few years .if everyone would do that ..The Ocean would bounce back.
Oh really? I wonder why they’re making so many efforts at conservation of sea life then 🤷
It’s a hammerhead shark. You can tell by the dorsal fin.
The ocean is not the natural domain of man. Go enjoy what nature has to offer, just remember, other creatures live there as well.
That was a hammerhead for sure. I’m from Florida and I’ve seen them many times especially around the keys. I’m no expert but they tend to hunt sting rays and tarpon which come very close to shore. They can grow to be huge and of course can definitely attack a human but I would be much more afraid if it were a bull shark or a tiger shark. I’m not even going to mention great whites because as far as I know we really don’t have a problem with great white shark attacks here in South Florida. I’m not saying hammerheads aren’t dangerous but it would be a lot scarier if it were a tiger or a bull. Those are the ones you really need to worry about swimming in Florida waters. So right now I’m gonna play it safe and take a dip in my pool.
Yeah I think some can get to 20 feet long.
How cool is that. From a west aussie!!! We know sharks!!!
Humans Invade Long Island Beach, Home of Sharks. There, I fixed your headline.
I feel like sharks have started not to like us, at all 😬
Actually they never did cause we invade their home and pollute their environment!
Last time I check sharks belong on the ocean
A group of sharks is not a Pod, it’s a school or shoal. 1:50
We just dove with Sand Tiger Sharks in North Carolina. They are not dangerous to divers at all. Sharks are the janitorial service of the Ocean and the splashing noise people make attracts them thinking it is an injured fish. Enjoy the ocean but be aware, we are guests
What about “Humans invade shark beach in Florida”. 🙄
How can you invade you’re own home??? This like saying ants invade a large dirt pile. 😂😂😂
That’s shark in Navarre swam into shallow water while texting and then realized where it was and how it was surrounded by upright walking meat sticks and just got the heck outta there
PLEASE NOTE: sharks dont take off their fins and go to McDonalds when its dinner time !
@@HunnySanchezare you serious?? 😮
Haha great comment, very very true though.
*The ocean...the entire ocean...is THEIR HOME...NOT humans' homes! If you are not aware at all times, that is the human's fault. When people do ocean activities, just expect they are around. NEVER swim between dusk and dawn, or in murky water. Also, these sharks appear to be trying to get through, not attack. The ones bitten were probably in their path and the bites were exploratory. Once they realized that's no fish, they moved on.*
Exploratory bites aren't like benign tumors. They can still kill. Don't downplay them.
The reporter was adorable when she says I don't want it to happen to me.
I swam in Pensacola the entire time I lived there it's beautiful and clear so you have a visual around you at all times.
Yesterday I was alone in the water here in Rockaway Beach but our awesome lifeguards we're awesome with eyes on me since I was the only swimmer..and though the waves were very tough and the riptide very strong there was also zero visual clearance.
I think I actually saw a fin a few feet in front of me twice in a five minute period.. but I shrugged it off.
Today I jumped in until our awesome security team of the Parks Department booted me out.
I was not trying to break the law just to comfort our people not to be fearful.
We have never had a shark attack in my hometown ever until yesterday.
I pray she makes a full recovery.👌
bro came back better then ever
That’s why I am not going to Pensacola beach I am not ok with that seeing the sightings too. I use to love going to the beach but it’s always something going on with our beach that made me change my mind
This still isn’t enough to scare me away from wanting to go to the beach before this long hot summer ends.
I see you didn't mention swimming, just going to the beach.
Can’t cure stupid
You can go to the beach just don't go into the water! 😉
It is the ocean 🙄
That was a hammerhead. They are almost harmless
The headline should be 'Swimmers invade the ocean ' . The shark is in its natural habitat and we humans can't tell them how deep or shallow they should swim or how close to shore they should get
Gonna need a bigger boat
the worst sharks are two legged
Hiw can a shark invade when it's their habitat?
How can they invade there home. They live there you absolute geniuses! 🙆
In shark news: "Multiple Humans invade our home and feeding ground"
I never seen on the gulf coast so much shark sightings so…well things changing.
Um people are so shocked with seeing a sharks 🦈 in the ocean, that’s just like seeing bees 🐝 in a hive. I’m thinking maybe everyone should just stay out of the ocean, that’s their home, their environment and we’re actually invading it. I mean unless they want to be put on the menu for lunch, then they should really try swimming in pools, there’s definitely a really good reason as to why they were actually invented. 😂
That’s why people get in trouble…” It doesn’t look real!”
Shark is like ya'll messing round in my hood playa. Ya'll outta pocket I should bite yall in the qss..
"It's been incredibly hot.." Yeah it's called Summer.
Sharks are fish. A group of sharks is NOT a pod, that's whales & dolphins.
Just be thankful Sharks are not aggressive. If they were like clown fish or damsels no one would ever go in the water.
When the water is too hot in Florida, the shawks will walk New Yoke. - Dawn of the Shawks
Sharks don’t need to watch out for you , you’re swimming in there environment
Sharks live in the ocean
there will be more and more sharks coming closer to people on both sides of the United States because of the Wind turbine farms. It is the sound and vibrations given off by the turbines (just like boat engines) that draw them near. The sound of splashing from beach goers will draw them in even further into the shallow water.
No not Pensacola Beach that's Navarre Beach lady
Lets just stand here in the water and watch it😮
those arent sharks. do news media do ANY kind of due diligence these days?
If only sharks could walk through New York
They know there's fish, bait, toss away from fisherman on pier.
Don't go into the home of the sharks unless they invite you ... 😂
Sand tigers or 'nurse sharks' are harmless.
I wonder which sunscreen makes the best sauce.
And why is they waiting and video instead of telling people to get out of the water...
A stick of dynamite would solve the shark problem.
Humans : You INVADE their home. It is not the opposite.
See "Sharks Happen" . Sharks like to give birth in shallow water. Their babies are safer from other predators and can eat fish to grow big enough for deeper water.
In the city where I live we have sharks too - loan sharks!

You will 100% NOT Get Bit By A Shark... if you follow this ONE RULE!
DON'T GO IN THE OCEAN PAST YOUR ANKLES....
Sincerely,
.:trUth:.
Florida shark looks like hammerhead.
Good for you US for banning shark fishing.
This is why I don't ever get it the damn ocean
Beach goers just enjoying the water and trying to beat the heat. Sharks live in the water they can't just walk out of the water and on the beach to beat the heat. 😂 How the hell can sharks invade the water when they live in it?!😂😂😂 Makes more sense to say the beach goers were invading the water!!!
You should have never dumped that nuclear waste off the coast!!
