Your footage is amazing to watch and your knowledge and respect for sharks impressive. But what stands out as different to me about your videos is how centered and balanced they feel, especially for it being around something that can feel upsetting, and this allows the information you’re sharing be received and processed more gently and deeply. Also, your consideration and sensitivity to all in the way you give warnings is much appreciated. Just a lot of grace and compassion along side your ‘real talk’ about these creatures and the nature of things going on. Very commendable.

Agreed; I love the footage he gets with these drones. Biologists always say that sharks aren't generally hunting people, but it's hard to really process this until you see this kind of footage, over and over where sharks essentially ignore or avoid people even in close proximity. The emphasis on their unpredictability highlights the need to respect their space, but also not to be in constant terror.

You’re exactly correct about GW’s positive impact on our ecosystem. It’s exciting to have increased sightings of GW’s in the Gulf of Mexico, and closer to beaches in Pensacola and Gulf Shores. They’re not babies, either. One caught off Orange Beach, not too long ago, was approximately 13 feet long. Divers have encountered a few while spear fishing. Definitely good news after 2010’s massive oil spill!

Es ist schön, jüngere und ältere weisse Haie zu sehen. Und es ist ein schönes Video. Danke

Seeing the size of the larger shark compared to the paddle boarder is alarming. I can only imagine how HUGE the shark must seem to that guy. I hope whoever is trophy hunting those sharks is caught soon and skinned alive. Or, eye for an eye, fed to sharks. 🦈

Maybe the next time they will slip up and land near enough to the beast and its jaw for it the bite them in half😂😂😂

Unpredictable is the key word. I live in Florida and although we have Great White's (not in the numbers you do) , they are far less scary to me than a bull shark . But paddleboarding around a 12ft + GW is risking your life . As fast as it swam away it could have swam at him . As usual , incredible footage 🙏

And to add , I agree with you that there is nothing scarier than an ocean devoid of sharks. They play such a vital role in our ecosystem and they are majestic in every sense of the word ! I pray the people slaughtering them are caught and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law

THAT IS THE BEST EXPLANATION FOR SHARKS I'VE EVER HEARD: WILD AND UNPREDICTABLE.
