    Taurine is one of the best things for heart health and attenuating glutamate issues. Better than l theanine. Extremely powerful for calcium regulation too. Paired with boron it can help energy and atherosclerosis as well. It really helps mycotoxin issues and helps sulfation.

      Yeah, in theory, all of the supplements are good, but there is no evidence that shows taking these isolated compounds chronically will not lead to long-term health issues or brain related issues, which are extremely difficult to pick up in imaging or testing.
      If you can’t get these naturally, I think they have a net-loss effect.
      The only synthetic supplements I’d take are like Magnesium/vitamin d3, everything else can be found naturally, and if not, shouldn’t be consumed.

    what may be even more important than the benefits of Taurine to muscle tissue is it's benefits to the kidneys. There are several papers that have been published showing that taurine appears to protect and possibly even restore the functionality to damaged nephrons. To what extent it can regenerate damaged nephrons is still being investigated.
    Taurine has been shown to play a role in four different forms of kidney disease: glomerulonephritis, diabetic nephropathy, chronic renal failure, and acute kidney injury (AKI).
    Taurine is a molecule that has multiple roles in kidney function, such as :
    Regulating the osmotic pressure and fluid balance in the kidney
    Protecting the kidney from oxidative stress and inflammation
    Modulating the renal transport of electrolytes and organic solutes
    Enhancing the renal excretion of toxic substances
    Preventing the development of kidney stones
    Improving the kidney function in diabetic and hypertensive conditions

    Taurine is a supplement that figures prominently in anti-aging regimens. It is highly recommended by many to take daily amounts for this purpose alone. I take a minimum of 500mg every day and double the dose to 1g when I do workouts. After viewing this video I will experiment and increase the workout amount. Since I raised the dose of taurine for workouts I noticed a definite increase in performance. It was obvious from day one. Intensity and endurance is up noticeably. This is aerobic training not anaerobic but I highly recommend taurine for any kind of physical exercise, or even if you don't exercise vigorously at all. Wish I had known about it years ago.

    • @johncalla2151
      @johncalla2151 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      That was a really old model based on some guesswork. I don't think muscle damage is particularly helpful for building muscle. Maybe just a tiny bit to get some inflammation and a hormetic response, etc., but the primary mechanisms for muscle growth are probably elsewhere. It's like trying to build a brick wall taller but in the meantime destroying half of the bricks already in place. Now you have to spend energy and resources repairing all the old bricks you busted up.
