greg I'm about your age and looking to relocate to Thailand too. my family wants to know what would happen to me if I were to pass away?
I'm definitely not a financial advisor but check with an attorney regarding a living trust and will. Your question is a great one and I wish I had the answer. I do know that Thailand has a great medical system and is ranked much higher than the US according to the World Health Organization. My personal opinion is enjoy life to the fullest while you can. If you want to leave your country to travel then go go go.
