I’m so stoked for you guys! EDR just sent me out a PC5 with full race tune, easy install. Can’t wait for a dry day to go for a test run on my 2022 890 Duke R
I second the comment about you being a motivating force behind Duke track riding! Crazy to see how stock some of these bike are. I’d enjoy seeing more about what folks are doing to their bikes and what they feel makes a performance/feel difference vs. just being cool (which is still a perfectly good reason to add to the bike).😎
The first race of the series a couple years ago showed how dominant the 890R was out of the box. They were literal stock bikes with slicks and bolt ons from the parts catalog. The 890s were literally lapping traffic towards the end of the race. Fast forward to now, FTRs and Pan-Ams on show room floor are mere shadows of whats actually on the grid. I rode a stock FTR1200 and it didnt even come close to the preformance of a stock 890 duke. This series went to fun entry level exhibition to....who has the deepest pockets.
Very well done tour of the KTM hooligan bike area. Andy, thanks for letting us meet the other "Orange Men". Your bike looks Sick and I am sure that it Hauls. Best of Luck to you all🍀
Hello! Is the handlebar just tilted? Or is it some other handlebar? And is it more convenient with this configuration than with stock? What kind of remotes are on the handlebar, sports? Where to get these?
Hey bro does the guy on the #665 fitted the Super Duke’s head light in his 890R? that’s something I wish KTM would do cause the head light in the 890 Duke looks more like the one in the 390 Duke and i think it should look more like the Super Duke’s head light instead to be honest. Cheers 👍🏻
What gearing are all you 890 guys running for more regular tracks? Tracks with 130-140mph top speeds. I currently have 15/42 but feel I can go lower for most tracks.
@@andydibrino Hmmm. The only place I top out in 6th is the rather long main straight at Summit Point. Right at 150mph indicated. The rest of the tracks I’ve ridden (Barber, NCBike, Shenendoah, Eagles Canyon) I have room to spare. A lot in a couple cases. It has a 180/60 SC3 rear which makes the gearing a tad bit taller compared to stock 180/55 Michelin. Are you essentially using only gears 1-5? 6th is a really tall gear.
Do any of you, or even @andydibrino know where to pick up the headlight number plate? Did you guys just make them yourselves? I'd like to get a number on mine and not have to order one of those super expensive racing headlight replacement plastic things.
You’re literally the inspiration for so many Duke track riders and racers! Keep it up Andy!
Yeah here for example 🙋🏼♂️
Will do, I enjoy playing the ambassador part 😁

So cool to see you and the other NW riders racing with Moto America! Hope the race will be on TH-cam. Oh wait, it is!

Glad to see how competitve the 890 looked in the second race! I'll be routing for you the rest of this season 👍
That bike looks so good. Keep up the great content.
Man love your racing!!! Those sgraight handlebars are great what are they?
Good luck, and have good races! From us in Israel.
I just realized I forgot to throw the clip of #61 Chris Joffrion in this video 🤦♂️ He’s on a 2022 890 Duke R as well.

I love my Duke 890R , best bike I ever owned (56years old) , on track much better than my gen1 1290R but I love it on the street .
i really want to buy one of these and race it. what number plates and mounts are everyone running? belly pans? shark fins? thanks andy!
The plate mounts are custom. S2 concepts bellypan and bagaros performance shark fin
@@andydibrino thanks dude 🤙🏻

thats awesome to see so many ktm dukes out racing !

15/42 is way way too short. Don’t put anything smaller than a 16t counter. I run 16/39 to 16/41 most tracks

I wonder if somebody had issues with the camshafts of the 890r engine.. There are many peoples with broken engines..especially with bad cam lobe wear.
You referring to stock or aftermarket cams?
@@andydibrino the stock ones..

We all custom made our mounts. The plates are just Maier 10x12” number plates
@@andydibrino Perfect, thanks!
The 665 bike is using a KTM hardparts windscreen mount and S2 concepts headlight.
Your helmet says Donut that’s cool, what’s the affiliation with them are they a sponsor? Would love to see them make videos about this!
I’m friends with Jeremiah and a few guys there. Hopefully will get wrangled into one of their videos someday and try to be involved 👍🏼
Very cool just googled KTM 790
I’d like to see just ONE super Duke in super hooligan.
didn't alex taylor have a bad crash? Hope he heals up fast and gets back out there
Yes he broke his wrist but is good other than that. He will be back soon ready to race!
Ktm models?
