    Under my BBQ I use a piece of Cement board. It is heat resistant and you can wipe it clean.

    Great video. I installed the same unit on our 2020 Keystone Cougar 315RLS. I also had to raise the frame about 1/2 an inch because like your's, when it was pulled out to the cross member it caught the bottom edge of the door frame. I used a strip of plywood on each side that runs the length of the slide frame and covered it in charcoal grey needle punched carpet to match the felt in the cargo bay Keystone put in there. Best accessory I did on the Cougar.

    Thank you ! Nice Video of what I want to achieve. Also how you tackled the little lift problem that I was worried about if I ordered wrong ! Thanks to your video I now know I don’t need there riser kit for our trailer. You may not be aware that a lot of us out there were unsure if we could buy a tray that swings both directions. I sent a Q ? Out to Amazon and finally got an answer. But once again your nice video confirms it. Super Cool
    Thanks again for your time.

      Hey Chuck just one thing I pretty sure I forgot to mention. Keep in mind that your black and gray holding tanks are under your front pass through so be mindful when choosing your screw length

    Great video, looking forward to installing ours today into our 3120rl so finding your video is very timely.
    One question, what size/length screws did you use? Thanks for sharing

    • @Jonesin2Go
      @Jonesin2Go  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think they were 3 inch screws

    Great video, thank you. Could show how you mounted hose and cord reel? My Grand design came with a hose reel, but am think of relocating it to a tray similar to your install? Are your reels power? If so how did you handle the slacking the wire? Thanks in advance!

    • @Jonesin2Go
      @Jonesin2Go  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Our reels are both manual and they are both just screwed the the tray. They are both moryde reels

    Now that you’ve had this setup a while, do you still like having the blackstone on the tray? I just ordered a Moryde tray for our toy hauler and already had the same idea to put the Blackstone on the tray. Great video!

    • @Jonesin2Go
      @Jonesin2Go  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes I really like the blackstone on the tray. It's a great way to get it out and put it away fast and easy. Adding the tray was one of my favorite additions. Well worth it.

    Awesome video, I’m wanting to pull the trigger on that purchase also. My only concern is, would there be a possibility of drilling into one of the tanks?

    • @Jonesin2Go
      @Jonesin2Go  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The outside screws would be outside the frame so the only location to be concerned about would be in the middle. That's where I used shorter screws.

    I'm wondering if you have a link or remember the exact name of the Fast Rack post that you have next to the Blackstone?

    • @Jonesin2Go
      @Jonesin2Go  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sure this is the tray I purchased at menards
      www.menards.com/main/storage-organization/garage-outdoor-storage/wall-storage/rubbermaid-reg-fasttrack-reg-rail-trade-15-3-8w-x-9-1-2d-wall-mount-storage-shelf/1938439/p-1469035905698-c-12657.htm?tid=8616461644710850477&ipos=53. The bar that it mounts to should be located in the same display.

    Nice vid. Thinking of getting one too.
    Question: why does your cargo bay door have gas struts brackets on the inside of the door? They are completely useless due to the door swings all the way up.

    • @Jonesin2Go
      @Jonesin2Go  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Montana puts them on incase the customer wants to add the struts. I prefer it open all the way.

    What’s the one inch spacer what’s the length of the screws you use

    • @Jonesin2Go
      @Jonesin2Go  ปีที่แล้ว

      The 1" spacer is to elevate the drawer so that it clears the door frame. It is 1" squar aluminum tube. I used 2" screws on the ends (outside the frame) and shorter screws on the middle screws. Keep in mind your black and gray tanks are under that floor so measure for those screws carefully so they don't penitrate the flooring to far.
