About ‘Virtua Fighter’

Wolf was my #1 guy with Sarah being 2nd. Too bad there wasn't a live movie made of Virtua Fighter.

この動画でアキラ対ウルフの初見でのファイトなんだけど、この1対1の戦いこそまさに勝ち負けを超えた究極のロマンがあります
この戦いで二人に芽生えた感情を説明します、最初アキラはウルフに後れを取ります
そしてウルフが「やっぱりどこにもいないのかこの俺の血を熱くするようなやつは」とね
でもアキラは諦めず忘れかけていた本当の戦いというのに目覚めます
そしてアキラはウルフに対して「確かにこのリングは血で汚れている、けどあいつの目に汚れはない」そして
「この男、俺の全力をもって戦う価値がある」と言いました、絶対に勝つとかじゃなく「戦う価値がある」なんです
つまりこれはね、アキラがウルフに対して、こいつは本物のファイターと認めた事になるんだよね
そして本調子を取り戻したアキラはウルフと一進一退の戦いを繰り広げます、戦いの決着はとりあえずはアキラの勝利になります
でもこの戦いはすでに勝ち負けなんかどうでもいい事になっていたんだよね、決着がついた後の二人の会話というのがそれを表してる
負けたウルフはアキラに近寄って握手を求めましたそして「こんな戦いをしたのは久しぶりだ感謝する」と言いました
アキラも「あんたとはもう一度戦ったみたい、正々堂々と」と言ったんだよね、このファイトで二人は間違いなくライバル関係になったって事なんだよね、対戦格闘ゲームというのもね、戦いの中でこれとほぼ同じような感情が芽生えることがあるんだよね
対戦格闘ゲームはね基本は勝つことを目指すんだけど、対戦相手に対して勝ち負けとかの感情より、この人とまた戦ってみたいという
感情が生まれる事が実際にあるんですよ、ライバルの存在と言うのはすごいんですよ
切磋琢磨できるライバルとの戦いがお互いを無限に強く出来るし無限のストーリーを作り出せるんだよね
これが俺が思っている対戦格闘ゲームの最大魅力です

lol. I'm a fan of this anime, and while I haven't watched my DVDs in awhile, I've seen this episode... man, I did _NOT_ see that ending coming, haha. I totally forgot about that dropaway floor trap - it's SO random here! You just expect Clive to follow anime villain rules, not Scooby Doo villains (^-^)

I watched this when I was young, unfortunately the anime was too cheesy even for a grade school kid like me. In the video game story, Akira was a no non-sense guy, the anime made him comedic.
This looks like a Canadian studio commissioned the Chinese to animate for them

He's not supposed to be a Native American. He has an affinitty with native american culture.
Probably of mixed native American and Irish descent.. like a descendant of an Irish immigrants who married a native American woman and the Irish immigrant probably lived out his life as an honorary native American
