We have a couple feet of snow where I’m at, so the weather isn’t super great. It’s a sunny blue sky kinda day now, but we’ve had non-stop snow since early Thursday morning. The snow was melting quite well before Thursday. So thanks for reminding me how nice the weather could be but isn’t. 😂
Would love to see some of the monster truck servo tests. I know you only do crawler stuff but, I feel like most people probably have both. I do. I have the Redcat gen 8, Traxxas TRX Blazer and the X-Maxx
A little hard to follow this testing in comparison to the several previous servo testings where 6/7.4/8.4 voltages were used. Also doesn't appear that these servos are waterproof.
RC Review That was Scotland! 🤣🤣 Over here we're all about sheep, coal pits and endless male voice choirs. If Braveheart had been set here it would have been "You'll never take our daffodils, butt." 😀
Hi RC Review. Do you have any plans to test large 1/6, 1/5 scale servos? I'm sure there are a lot of people that would benefit from your testing and tune into the results video.
What do you think about the HPL to shift a TF2 transmission? The location eats into interior space. Aslo, have you seen the Actuonics PQ12. It is a linear servo that I am considering for the same application. Thank you.
Great review. I got my new MKS X5 550 servo today and got the same jitter and noise issue at rest. does this normal for this servo ? or it is a defective item ? Thanks
th-cam.com/video/dj9gN7P3BHc/w-d-xo.html This video has shown why the MKS Servo jitter. It jitter because of the high resolution that can detect the jitter signal come from the radio remote control or servo tester.
I have a question. I have a Redcat Gen 8 and when i go in reverse it hops or jerks. I tried changing the radio to a Flysky GT3B but, nothing changed. Do you know what could be the cause?
I got 2 of the x5 yesterday, just sitting on the bench they are the loudest servos I’ve ever owned in my 24 years of rc. And a little jittery at neutral. Not impressed at all regardless of the price
@RevToTheRedline mines held up some fun sessions no problem, setting the avc, and trim proper reduces jitters a bit. Bit it can make some tight turns I'll have to post a new vid soon.
I'm hoping to order the HBL550, a couple of them actually.... for RC racing as well as a crawler. My son is moving up onto 1/8 so we need a beefier servo that his 1/10 racers needed. I have seen people using these in offroad racers that take a beating, and plan to be testing some just as soon as they are in stock.
Pretty impressive servos, dude. Not as much as claimed, but still... Very nice! 😃
Great testing, dude! 😊

That's the next frontier. It's coming I'm sure for us.
NICE!
You don't think something like this HBL550 would be a good servo in a monster truck?

please test/review more micro servos!
You can have our rain... here in Wales it's barely stopped for 28 days! Storm after storm, flooded towns, damaged bridges... 😱 🏊🏻
But you’ll never take ... our... freedom!
We had the 30 days of rain here 2 years ago so can sympathize

Where at in NorCal? I'm in Chico.
Have you done any reviews on the vaterra ascender
No . That brand seems to be abandoned as of 3 years ago. Just body updates
Any chance you will continue testing more servos?

Hi like your channel👍🏼
It would be interesting to test ”the dirt cheap” Bangood servo mg995. I ordered one, and good for the price in a light crawler.
Those are CRAP......."TowerPro 995MG" Horrible centering, overshoot, and slow.
Did you manage to find a servo that is very silent? Do you have a video with its review? Thank you so much!

Defective usually if that is a new one. Some brands develop that after a while after a lot of abuse and dirt.

are you going to test the new savox 1212sg

You think poss still cheap motors and specs fluctuate servo from servo hard believe they come up with numbers 527 and is close to claim?
Are these waterproof?
Nice
You did not use a 1" arm on the XBL550 which is what it is used for rating for, test invalid for this servo.
Our arm is exactly 1 inch.
Mine has jitters at rest also. Just got it..

HBL575 SL slim servo is designed for 1/10 Touring cars not crawlers
Not bad for the price.
A little leary on durably tho.
Me2 I think going stick reefs 444
Getting tired of the 25 kg amazon specials , my Kraton eats em up
Same here.
