I got the Uke Acquisition Syndrome, too! Picked up a Mahalo soprano mahogany from a thrift store back in March. Now I got a Kala bamboo concert and a Suzuki soprano zebrawood pineapple within the past 3 weeks, found a Koa Kalane soprano on ebay the other day (May), waiting for it to be shipped in a few days. Beginner level. ugggh goin' bananas over ukes.
Buyer beware... These guys are selling Ukes as all solid ukuleles that actually have laminated sides. I returned mine because of this and they never refunded my money despite saying they would, in addition to paying for return shipping. I suggest you consider taking this video down, as they are not a trustworthy company any longer based on such behaviors.
Thank you for the information. This is actually good news for me as I am looking for a solid top lam side instrument for humidity stability. I feel the top is where the majority of the instrument timbre originates. I think the sound quality of the instrument in the video was excellent, especially considering the price. I hope you receive your refund.

Great video James.
Thanks Rick!
So anxious to uncover more of the mystery that is Koa Kalane! I have a concert cutaway on order.
Looking to buy one of the concert ones. Is it worth it?
I would think so...I'm kicking around the idea of buying the tenor. A solid acacia instrument at this price is hard to pass up
Yes!
@@UkuleleRoots let me know if you get the Tenor, I was thinking about that too!
