Not even the best strategy games android reddit could hold a candle to this breathtaking Next generation competitive Pokemon experience.
Scream Tail is the Jigglypuff of our wildest dreams. It has been buffed with some higher statistics and the incredible ability, Protosynthesis. Gen 9 Competitive Pokemon wouldn't be the same without this powerful pink blob. He kinda looks like someone I met in one of my game design and development courses.
Gen 9 Pokemon Showdown is one of the greatest online gaming sites in history. From Pikachu and Charizard, to Palafin and Roaring Moon, The new Pokemon games, Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, have introduced a lot of new faces. Can I succeed in one of the best android games of all time? If so, I'm gonna get myself a Walmart bakery Pokemon cake to celebrate.
Gholdengo is a Pokemon made of pure gold. He must have done some online business management courses to accumulate all that wealth. Or perhaps he might want to learn how to make money playing video games on TH-cam. In any case, he's a powerful metagame force, with absolutely no interest in online game development schools.

Wow, thats me on the video. Hilarious watching my games back again. Guess I cooked too hard in the teambuilder the day before haha. Even if I have been losing a lot its been real fun playing this tourny. I've actually been playing ADV for about a month now, so I am still quite the noob. But it has quickly become a really fun format through your older videos and with people like BKC.
Thanks for the commentary on my game I'll do my best to cook up some other team for the next round! :)

He made so many obvious mistakes and blunders.
It did 93% because Hariyama was paralyzed = guts boost
That's what I thought. Maybe Guts is uncommon in competitive. Guts is a lot more practical in a playthrough than in showdown ADV.

Guts is not good in PvE, you generally want mons to avoid status and stay healthy through long caves and such, and you can't reliably trigger it for difficult battles.

Am I the only one that's extremely annoyed by LRXC? This is the first time in any ADV revival video where the commentator, after showing insane bias towards SirCookiess, pans over TO THE CHAT to show them saying that they choked?! That's unbelievably disrespectful. The mention of "SirCookiess winning only by hax" throughout the entire second game was also extremely unnecessary, let alone not even true (Gengar switching in on a Fire Blast from what you knew was special invested was not a good play, letting Gengar get heavily chipped, let alone sacking it was a bad move and the crit didn't matter much as a result).
You can show support for your subscribers but holy shit, don't do that again LRXC. That was not cool at all. This is the first ADV revival vid I actually disliked because of that.
(And to be clear, editing this post as it just came to me: I think LRXC had good commentaries in some of the matches they commentated before. This was absolutely not one of them.)

I can't even wait until after Game 3 to comment - this is hands-down some of the best content going right now. What a wild game 2; I don't care if it's chokes, RNG, or even good plays - THIS IS POKEMON. As an avid eSport consumer, this has everything I look for in competitive gaming entertainment. Preemptive ggs to SirCookiess and bo_bobson27, and thanks again LRXC; you have a fantastic ability to light both me and these games on fire!
I also think you've come across as balanced towards both competitors; you consistently set solid context for any "harsh" critiques that you have, like 'leading a horse to water' type of thing
It wouldn't take much to convince me that you prewatch these games XD super high-level commentary imo.

@@DarthFhenix55often more limited choices leads to better balance, even if you’d expect otherwise. But the more characters join a game the higher the chance becomes that new ones start to invalidate the old to keep things fresh hence leading to power creep

These thumbnails for ADV Revival really have been amazing. Not clickbait, but very eye catching to newer people. I enjoy putting these on for dinner or when doing things around the house.
They are clickbait, but the good kind.
A bit less enjoyable commentary than usual. The game two was just unnecessarily biased and I felt that SirCookies was being pummeled by more and more criticism to the point it really lost its meaning. Overall the other videos, where people made terrible plays and were not that good, were very insightful and constructive, on this one it was not on the same level.

Why don't you narrate replays instead of live gameplay? This way you can start and stop your narration, thought and emaborations at your own rythm without worryijg about the actual pace of the match
Don't get me wring, the anticipation and weight of each player's choices in live gameplay is super satisfying... A bit less so when you ask "why are they taking so long" 4 times in two games.

Blaziken went absolutely insane in Game 1. But SirCookies cooked his own goose by bringing same team every time. Kingdra clutched Game 2. Bo Bobson was smart to bring Starmie to Game 3
Imagine if in game Two on the first rain dance setup turn if blaziken just thunder punched..... seems like it would nuke the kingdra, yeah you chance it hydro pumping you but you at least have a chance to bring it back

I was just recommended some of these videos randomly and I love gen 3 battling, but I don't understand the format. How do both of these people have a hariyama? I've watched a dozen of these videos and I've never seen a hariyama, and now both players have one? Do you have to build a team around a Pokemon for game one?
It's just that a lot of pokemon have a specific niche in gen 3 competitive, Hariyama included. In this case it's one of the few viable mons that learns Knock Off to remove enemy items, plus fighting-type coverage is good against the arguably top 1 pokemon in the tier, Tyranitar.
Hariyama is good in this gen

Its rare, but viable!
And its ok LRXC we can handle some dead time! U don't have to feel stifled by the players clamping up under the pressure. What's obvious to u thanks to your experience may not be to them especially when in they r in the spotlight. I think another co commentator may help fill up lulls in the game while also introducing a back and forth on what the best move /unrevealed mons could be. The sequencing in Pokémon is alot more mind game related and prediction heavy compared to chess so u can't spend 30 min of dead air analyzing either so we get your frustration!
Wait wait wait, so I'm catching back the longer casts because I could not watch them prior. You're telling me there's this whole meme with Blaziken going on on current day that it's bad and useless after it cleaned up so good on g1 endgame.
