Episode 43 - Episode 45 Notes: (Ill Repost this on EP 44 & EP 45)
Events between Battle of Badr and Battle of Uhud
The Invasion & Expulsion of Banu Qaynuqa
This occurred 3 weeks after the Battle of Badr, the largest Yahud tribe in Medina called the Banu Qaynuqa began expressing their anger at the Quraysh’s defeat at Badr. This led up to an exchange where a Muslim man was killed by the Yahud, for killing a Yaudi man, who disrespected the honour of a Muslim woman. The Prophet SAW then announced that the treaty of Medina had been broken and that the Banu Qaynuqa no longer has a treaty with the Muslims. After which, the Prophet SAW and the Muslims immediately began marching upon the Banu Qaynuqa.
The Banu Qaynuqa lived in fortresses outside Medina and they planned to stay locked up in there. However, the Prophet SAW ordered the Muslims to surround the fortress and let the Banu Qaynuqa supplies run out and after 15 days they surrendered unconditionally. The Banu Qaynuqa were then taken prisoner and they asked Abdullah Ibn Ubayy ibn Salul, to help them out and the Prophet SAW exiled them after his insistence. But in doing so they left a lot of booty that the Muslims gained. After this, the Qaynuqa fled to Khaybar.
    The Invasion of Al Kudr
Two months after Badr, an unhappy Arabian tribe, called the Banu Salim, planned to attack Medina but were confronted by the Muslims and fled. They wanted to attack because the Muslims winning the Battle of Badr meant that they lost out on business.
    The Sariyya of Sawiq
Two months after Badr, Abu Sufyan gather 200 men and attempted to get revenge on the Muslims were winning at Badr. The Banu Nadir tribe helped Abu Sufyan get into Medina and he then attacked and killed two Muslim men. The Prophet SAW and the Muslims chased him but were unsuccessful in capturing him.
    The Sariyya of Al Qarada
This occurred in the 3AH and was the precursor for the Battle of Uhud. The Quraysh attempted to send their usual caravan to Syria for trade and took a secret route. The Prophet SAW got intelligence of this and sent Zayd Ibn Haritha RA who along with other 99 other Muslims successfully captured the caravan. They brought it back to Medina and the loot was shared. The capture of this caravan hit the Quraysh hard.
The Assassination of Ka’b Ibn Al-Ashraf
Ka’b Ibn Al Ashraf was a wealthy handsome Jew of Medina who had allied with the Quraysh and was always mocking the Prophet SAW and Islam. He wrote poems that insulted the Prophet SAW and even wrote erotic poems about Muslim women by name. This led to the Prophet SAW ordering his assassination and he was killed by Muhammad Ibn Maslamah RA. After Ka’bs death the Jewish tribes complained, but the Prophet SAW ignored them due to their past transgressions.

Disclaimer for my Notes of Sheikh Yasir Qadhi’s Seerah of the Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam Series:
Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh, these are my notes on Sheikh Yasir Qadhi’s Seerah series.
Please note: I HIGHLY recommend that you all watch YQ’s Seerah series, as I DON’T cover every single detail the Sheikh mentions. I made these notes primarily for myself but, decided my fellow brothers and sisters may benefit from them too. I no doubt will have made mistakes in my notes. All the good in these notes is from Allah SWT and all the mistakes are from myself. But, I was very meticulous and tried my best to make sure everything is accurate as the Sheikh mentions it.
You also will see I have added “Fun Trivia facts” under each of my notes. These FTFs are information YQ said that was off topic or not necessary to include in my notes for the episode. But, they were still worth mentioning hence the inclusion as FTFs. FTFs aren’t always HAPPY pieces of information. Sometimes they are very sad trivia. I just want to say that FTF is the phrase I used for them all collectively when making the notes.
One thing I wanted to do but am too lazy to do is, maybe someone could take the FTFs from under each “Episode” and make an Islamic reminder/information IG/TikTok account and post them daily or something. Could be a great form of Sadaqah Jaariyah.
Please keep me in your Duas and ask Allah SWT to forgive all our sins during this blessed month and beyond! Ameen

I love the pressure he puts on his audience/class when he asks questions and refuses to bail them out until there’s a considerable amount of uncomfortable silence or wrong answers. I absolutely love it. It makes me feel bad for not knowing and I’m watching on TH-cam almost a decade later.

I am in love with the sound of drinking water, and am always waiting to hear it while my mind is wandering in the scenes of Arabia (I guess the deserts of Arabia could make me mentally thirsty 😅)
Well, if they are honestly advising the shiekh, I am fine with it, and indeed I am to assume that they are doing so.
But I guess I will keep on loving the ice and water sound effect with the Arabian desert mindscape 😆

I have been listening to his lectures for days now and found them very interesting and enlightening. Even though I saw him several times drinking, I couldn't hear a sound of an ice or water at all. The reason being that I am so in tuned with the knowledge he is spreading than a mere noise. Complaining about sounds of ice is foolish, unappreciative and satanic minded. You cannot find a fault in his profound knowledge and wisdom, so you have to attack him because of a sound of an ice. A ouzou bilah!!!!! You should be worried about that devilish noise inside your head than the one of an ice.

So whomsoever knows God there is no harm if he eats well.” He used to say: “My son, drink your water cold since if you drink it hot and then praise God you would have said it without concern. And if you drink cold water and praise God, all the members of your body would have responded with praise to God.” Al-Shadhili used to ride the high caliber horse and say “do not be extravagant by escaping the world lest it drapes you in it’s darkness or allow your limbs to become soft towards it lest they relapse back in its grip after they were liberated from it.”

Also quite confused you mention Ali being a Muslim when he was 7 I read he was 10 I don't know what is correct
What do you mean sahabah forced him to marry after khadjah? I remember you saying they just suggested he should marry which eventually it was sawda first then Aisha he married then the other women

I think I posted the question (as it was a while back) because the order is Sha'baan then Ramadaan then Shawwaal. If Khadeejah رضي الله عنها passed away in Ramadaan, six weeks earlier would be either Rajab or Sha'baan. I do not know this part of Seerah very well, as to when exactly she and Abu Taalib died. I thought that Sha'baan was correct because Shawwaal comes after Ramadaan. I don't know about Rajab, as it is more than six weeks apart from Ramadaan.

The history before Quran passed on by the
Arabs is far from the most accurate of of histories.
    Its flaws center around
passing on lies of the Jews who tried to mythologize and explain all people and
even more corrupt traditions among fully polytheist people.
    If Islam was a
new religion, everyone should have opposed it.
    Polytheism tends to be
henotheism and more sectarian than even monotheistic forms of
    polytheism.
Abdullah and Ismael were such as God saved their parents from

Celebrities may be easier rises to power, but
the professional worshipers are a more reliable rise to power, but to do do
spiritual rituals is of the worst of jobs. Religious leaders should never allow
payment for leading obligatory or otherwise rites. Worship of God is best for
    free.
There is no theory that is not an explanation of the facts

Historical investigation continues to prove that manuscripts of Al
