In addition to there being no Islamic State, we believe jihad is between soldiers on the battle field. It is not targeting of civilians, such a practice is not from Islam. In fact there are specific text where the Prophet told us not to target non combatants. So yes Jihad is against all nations but it can only be done if there is an Islamic State, it must conform to the rules of war, and it is only to establish God's Law, not to convert people by force.

I enjoy these lectures, but YQ made a mistake here that must be pointed out. The final state of jihad is against all mankind, and not only against the Arabs of that time like he said. Why did the Prophet (saw) send armies against Rome and Persia, this was continued by the Sahabah? Only because they understood all mankind should be fought until the earth comes under the Law of God. Of course we do not call for militancy or violence today because there is no Islamic State.

Jehan Jaleel the majority of the ulema have come together to claim that there is no imperative to make the world Muslim. Focus on your prayers, leave these modern political Islamic groups and avoid watching porn. Peace

    Assalamualikum Warahamatullahi Wabarkatahu,
Sir While listening to the seerah lectures of Sheikh Yasir Qadhi i think there was a missing link of lectures between the dates of 2011 may18 to 2011 june1 may be three lectures.
Because there was no background history of quraish, Abdul muttalib and the incident of digging the well of zam zam , sacrificing of 100 camles...... so plz plz upload those lectures as soon as possible. Hope inshallah you will upload it.
    Jazakallahu Khairun

Unfortunately a person like him said that we praise Abu Sufyan and Ummayads. That confirms that who wrote the history after Prophet

@@IRISHINFIDEL it is very unfortunate for you man that after studying Islam as you said in your comments you only see the favoritism of the Prophete (Peace and blessing of Allah upon Him). You did not see all the goods that Islam taught to people. it is really unfortunate.

@@IRISHINFIDEL if you don't any good that Islam taught to its followers so need to discuss with you because you have already a mind set. After all the Prophet (peace and blessing of Allah upon him) did to Ansar as you said most all them remained Muslims and Madina even became until day an islamic state. Go and learn again without passion. May be Allah will guide you.

By his trying to prolong such a beautiful story is actually destroying it, he repeat his sentences and one thing, he tries to tell it in three different ways, so many repetitions. Had it not the seerah, I would not have continued. I have gone through the seerah in atleast two books(one by Martin King and the other necter of the seal) and Martin Ling’s I must have read three times. I have also watched and listened the seerah by others like Hamza Yusuf and Anwar Al Awlakhi, Both have beautiful renditions, But this guy is something else. Completely disappointing
