Keep your brake fluid topped up… simple. I own the same car and I know that the sensor within the brake fluid container is highly sensitive - usually when you’re turning to the left at speed. Sounds so good Beeping is possibly low brake fluid. Happens when the level in the reservoir gets below the sensor. I would also get Michelin Pilot Sport 3 personally.
Low brake fluid was my thought as well. Under braking, the fluid is rushing to the front, and when bouncing around it is likely enough to move whatever floating sensor in the fluid that is linked to the audible alarm.
Nice lap, great chat with the owner. Hopefully he can solve the brake warning beep, possibly the sensor by the handbrake detecting it's on or an abs sensor being intermittent or brake fluid sensor/the heavy braking and steep up hill sloshed the brake fluid to the point it was just below the sensor causing the warning.
Fia WEC Fuji and Misha driving the 12 hours of nurbugring what a weekend. I missed the Jimmy driving due to being force to sleep a little but I understand that he drove excellently.
Yeah he did, and was quick too. Think he put in the fastest laps of the three of them and was pretty consistent too. Won't know for sure till they say more in later videos I suspect but think Misha had some issue with traction control not turning off fully. It seems that the logic for the beeps could be "rear tyres are rotating at least 5% slower than the front tyres". That way you get beeps if the rear slides around even if you don't touch the brakes.

The brake fluid level is likely just low enough that during hard cornering and braking it trips the sensor. Also that "hand brake" light is also the low brake fluid light.

4:30 This is a feature I really like on the MX-5. There is no comfort turn signal, but you can hold the lever in place instead of engaging it, so for example you could "blink" only once. I always use this to signal cars behind me that they could overtake me.
I have an RS Twingo 133 here in the UK and that beeping sound isn't only for the handbrake it's an issue perhaps with braking fluid and/or the wear sensors. It needs looking at, don't let it cry wolf. I would not take this on a track with that alarm sounding.
The car sounds surprisingly good! And the beeping, could it just be traction control? as it's often connected to ABS, so it'd beep when it'd wanna do anything or something? like with the VW UP! the trick there was basically removing the fuse for the ABS, and it'd disable the traction control, so connected in that way?
We disabled the TC before going on track just a press on a button with this car. The brake fluids were just under the sensor and that’s were the beep came from.
Really impressive, but that beeping was annoying me as I watched the video so I can only imagine it was driving you crazy, Misha! Final battle between the Twingo and the Saxo was quite exciting too! Great video!
That brake sound/handbrake warning could be due to worn out pads as well. If the pads are worn out too much, the brake piston could fall out of place. You should always take the brake sounds/handbrake warning seriously!

3:12 "The car likes to slide". Unsolicited advice to the owner from my side. It could be reasonable to visit wheel angle adjustment workshop. The really good specialist is able to release nuts or bolts where rear beam connect to the boby. The space in fastening hole always enough to set wheels in zero anlges. This trick made Peugeot 206 more stable during trail braking. I believe it will work for Twingo.
It came like that from factory, that's a Renault RS thing. Simple lift in fast corners makes them overseer, but if one is aware of this character it not unsafe and fully controllable.
My twingo is very heavy in the nose and light in the rear so you can play with the rear! It does slide when driven hard but you can use it to trailbrake!
This beeping thing seems to me like the handbrake switch or some wire has a dodgy connection somewhere. Seems less dependent on braking rather than vibration or g-force in a certain direction to me..
I once test drove one and HATED it! Absolutely hated it... Shifting was terrible, steering feel was nowhere to be found, just a terrible terrible car to drive! But seeing this video, not hearing Misha say anything about that, makes me wonder: "did I try a destroyed example?!?"
I own one and you have to get used to the more mechanical feel of the shifts. I dont think its bad, were just used to soft shifters in general. Maybe the one you tried also needed a change of gearbox oil. And yeah, the steering is not responsive whatsoever. Thats easily my biggest gripe with the car. Butt feeling is everything here, and like Misha said, its still quite predictable. But for what it is, its a fun car. I think Mishas verdict matches that sentiment.
Cool story. The twingo R.S is a good little car. I think the problem is with the people that expect porsche performance wich cannot be made for the prices these went for obviously. A lot of people tese days are obsessed with performance and think that every car that comes from the factory needs to be a race car wich off course is ridiculous.

Now that's a sound you wanna hear! Not loud fart can exhausts! 😁👍
Clash of the titans 😅 i love the car, pure pleasure of driving, one can focus on skills entirely
I love my Twingo RS....BC Racing suspension,DS 2500+EBC brakes,Magnaflow exhaust...and and......very funny car❤
Hi Misha, congrats to place 48 at NLS.
Overall or in the class?
@@thndrmusic8020overall, p5 in class
@@thndrmusic8020 Yep, would be a horror show to come 48th in class out of 12. lol :)
In my country Clio 2 RS are cheaper actually, but people over here are mad greedy.
Why does it sound so good tho 😂
All N/A Renault RS engines sound great :)
Pretty much any naturally aspirated (not even supercharged) engine with some performance intake / ITB and not just a random loud exhaust is going to sound good.
I would actually love to see Misha drive my MR2 SW20 3SGE on the Nordschleife but I don't think I want to sit next to him. Especially in the wet, always a slippery slide. 😅
The days of Renault sport.....
Please someone tell him to top the brake fluid up ..thats why its beeping it head off ...
Even more excited to take my Twingo RS to the ring next year now!
That's what I drove on the ring. Loved it.
Nice to see a Twingo on the channel. I drive a Twingo diesel with some mods for track driving 😂
I like these cars because of the Top Gear review where they drove one upside down in a tunnel (probably used some sort of trickery to do it but whatever)
Oh man, that onboard computer got to go. That alone would drive me nuts.
cant wait to take mine with her brand new swapped 225 engine in stage 3
One of the better reasons to go onto the Nordschleife in the rain is that there are only a few cars on that track.
RVS brake lines - stainless steel brake lines
Thank you for testing ALL cars
Lovely budget track tool ;)
It is better to buy 1.2 turbo and boost it up to 140ps , it will be faster than the RS.
but it's a 1.2 turbo. People who buy the RS do so for its exotic mechanics, naturally aspirated engine, manual, short gears, high revolutions, chasis cup and low weight, that is no longer seen. not because of its speed.
you completely missed the point of this car
Great "bip, bip" lap
This was very entertaining. Thanks Misha!
these small and spicy cars are much cooler than those big and heavy vehicles!
Misha is the only you tuber where I first hit like then watch the video😅
So cute. This guy comes end of the day with that car on wet and just enters the ring. This is much more enthusiastic than some idiot with V10.
12:00 niks om bang voor te zijn bij misha in de auto haha
After the GT3 Cup video this video feels slow motion af
this car can be so much fun, but even better as a turbo.twingo
Ok next Please try to find someone with an old Toyota 86 in any tune. Or any of the celica in rwd, or gt4 pretty please with sugar on top. Thanks love ya.
i must say this car was made in my town, Novo mesto, Slovenia.. guy looked on shifting stick a lot, you sure rev this poor little thing:), if it would be dry you would use it more or not mischa?
I think that it could go faster for example in high revs it goes down... the car is light the citroen seems to go better
Hard braking then alarm ? 🤔
That sound-alarm means fluid is low ✌️
You’re 100% right but at the time i looked at the light and the handbrake sign was on. Once i was home i saw that the brake fluids were just under the sensor. Nothing major but you’re 100% right!
Misha driving a 300k Mercedes rocket :|
Misha driving a Twingo RS :D
Really like the intake sound. 👌🏻🇳🇱
This beeping thing seems to me like the handbrake switch or some wire has a dodgy connection somewhere. Seems less dependent on braking rather than vibration or g-force in a certain direction to me..
Yeah Little Bomb!!Sounds Good!!
I’d like to see you take a quirky hot hatch around, my next project car and would love to see your thoughts.
volvo C30 T5 R-Design
omg the last part.... very good.
Twingo RS is a cracking first Car
12:30 M-C2 Manthey ❤
And takes him on the last corner 😆🙌🏽
Loved my RS Gordini 133
Might wanne check the brake fluid mate! More likely the cause of that beeping..
Nice :D +W . it's the hand brake switch that causes the beep ?(the lever is jumping)
