    I was so ticked off about my air not working. It literally just stopped. Got home from work, turned to trusty old TH-cam and now my air is back and better than ever. People who post these videos are my saviors. Thank you good sir.

    May god bless You! This video just safe my money from workshop cost. Just tried swapping AC relay with Horn relay and it works! I just need to buy a new AC relay that cost not too much to replace the old ones. Thank you and 🤎 From Malaysia.🇲🇾

      Hey dude, you posted this 5 months ago, but did this ever fix the AC issue for you? I have a Mazda 3 with this issue and replaced the clutch but my issue continues.

    • @Ryan-Louis
      @Ryan-Louis 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@SlampthChompthunfortunately my issue was mroe than electrical related. It really was just the compressor itself. Replaced it, charged the system, and it's working again.

    • @SlampthChompth
      @SlampthChompth 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Ryan-Louis dang it that's not what I wanted to hear. How did you determine the compressor itself was bad?

    • @Ryan-Louis
      @Ryan-Louis 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@SlampthChompth Took the serpentine belt off (the speed3's belt spins the compressor as well) and spun the pulley. I could hear rattling, which meant either the clutch or some bearing was bad. The clutch itself also seemed seized as it would not spin.

    @angelincireasa9121 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    If the clutch is really the problem can it be replaced? Its a easy process or a hard/costly one? I wouldn't really want to replace the whole compressor since it costs around 500$

      I have this issue on my 08 Mazda 3, compressor won't engage. I just replaced the clutch but the issue continues. I'm going to try the suggestion in this video.

    If the clutch still isn't working you said it could be low on the refrigerant. When I use the r134 kit the needle just stays in the red. Can I try to fill it anyway

    Relay works on AC, also tried couple other fuses for the ac magnetic clutch but havent gotten it working. Giving straight 12v to the compressor makes the clutch click but cannot really get any readings with a multimeter coming to the compressor it self. Hmm.. any ideas to check? Gott my mazda 3 1.6l

    Thanks for the video. I followed these steps and found that my compressor is kicking in with the AC. So the fuse is probably okay. It is still blowing hot air. Also, the radiator fan goes to max everytime I turn the AC on. Do you think it could be a faulty thermostat causing these two problems? I topped up my freon. So I know it is not that.

      Did you ever fix this? I also have this issue, I just replaced the clutch but the issue still exists. Compressor won't engage. AC button turns on, the fuse doesn't seem broken. Not sure about the relay. Going to try swapping it with a different compatible relay, as well as the fuse. Gosh I hope it's that easy.

    • @SlampthChompth

      After replacing the clutch and checking the fuses, and the issue continued, it was apparent it was going be a job I wasn't going to be able to do. I had to take it into the shop, and they ended up replacing the compressor. Almost 900 bucks for that.

      I'm having the exact same issue on my 08. Compressor will not engage. I'm going to try swapping fuses and the relay like he does in this video to see if that's the issue.
      I'll report back my findings. If you also figure out how to fix your issue please let me know! After replacing the clutch and belts I'm about ready to either buy a new car or pay who-knows-how-much for AC repair. Please let me know if you fixed yours and how, and I'll do the same for you.
      Update: unfortunately I ended up taking it into a shop and they replaced the entire compressor. $880.
