I've been avoiding this video for a while because the title was so intense and I'm in the midst of embracing my own hit and I cry easily. I finally got the courage to watch it and I'm glad I did. Thank you for sharing such a vulnerable story with the world. Let's keep embracing our hits. I feel it takes embracing many hits to become like our Heavenly parents. I've learned that keeping my covenants means that all my suffering is purposeful and instructive but I've also learned that even if I bring on my own suffering as a result of mistakes I make, if I offer it into the Lord, he can turn it into something instructive. Its such an incredible freeing truth.

It helps me to think of instructive suffering as "Graduate courses in the University of Life," and suffering I bring on myself due to sins or mistakes as "Extra Credit Courses" that I sign up for. I need them all. They're all there to help me. Heavenly Father lovingly sent us earth (aka: University of Life) to LEARN...And He is not wasting ANYBODY'S tuition!!!! ......Aren't we lucky to have a loving, all-powerful, all-knowing and perfect father?! We can trust Him not to waste any of our suffering. He's awesome.

I died but was brought back to life in an ambulance (sorry i saw nothing when i was dead) but maybe the good Lord said i wont show you this life of heaveen via your suicide. I chose to ask to see the Lord's hand in my life. That's incredible! Some days feel like a blessing some days feel like a curse but if we look for the Lord's hand in our life we will know that everything is to bless us and increase our capacity to better understand and bless others with what we have gone through. And if for no other reason to prove to ourselves we can do hard things with the Lord's help and we will be blessed for our efforts. Because the lord loves effort!

But as we look back and see the hand of the Lord in our lives, we know he was with us every step of the way. We have been blessed with a baby girl 10 years later. It's all I can think about and my heart aches from the pain on a daily at this point. This video has given me inspiration to face my problems head on. to know that It may even hurt worse to deal with the problem at first, but I will be a better man in so many ways by being honest and truthful with myself and the ones I love. WOW, I really needed to see this. This one hit me in some way especially with all I'm struggling with in my life. Coming back to church and even going thru the temple has saved my life (in my eyes) but the constant hits that have come upon me since doing so have indeed been hard to embrace especially when I know that Satan in trying his damned best to steer me of the track straight and narrow path I'm trying my best to stay on. This video gives me hope that thru Christ I can overcome all the struggles and challenges I face in life and everyday if I just keep trying and never give up and continue to pray daily and read/study the scriptures to seek guidance and direction from our Heavenly Father.

It's hard enough to prepare when the impact comes at you. But it's even harder to watch it come at your children and you wish you could take it for them. I'm currently trying to help several of my kids learn to embrace their own impacts and it's hard. Very true is her testimony and story she shared... we got hit blind sided and it hurt alright... but over time we embraced it and have learnt to become better daughter mother & wife and a better person towards others. Omg it was truly my darkest moments in my life, I was emotional, cried easily... it was hard, but how strong are we when we embraced it! Maybe that's the 1 thing I haven't learned. I've been through therapy, Priesthood blessings, etc. Everything that was available to help me cope and deal with. Thank you again.

I struggle with major depression, as well as other challenges. Life isn't always fun, but it's beautiful, and we are here to learn how to "embrace the hits," that we all will inevitably experience in our life. Christ has already embraced our challenges, including sins. Now it's our turn to let the grace of Jesus Christ help us to overcome our challenges. Hope in this world, and in the world to come is only a prayer away!

I'm currently trying to help several of my kids learn to embrace their own impacts and it's hard. I'm hoping and praying so much that they will not just get through it but to get through it positive save stronger, like this wonderful woman.

Very true is her testimony and story she shared... we got hit blind sided and it hurt alright... but over time we embraced it and have learnt to become better daughter mother & wife and a better person towards others. Omg it was truly my darkest moments in my life, I was emotional, cried easily... it was hard, but how strong are we when we embraced it! The Lord surely knows how to refine us even though it was the most uncomfortable unliked unfair trial. Wow... we made it!

I struggle with major depression, as well as other challenges. Life isn't always fun, but it's beautiful, and we are here to learn how to "embrace the hits," that we all will inevitably experience in our life. Christ has already embraced our challenges, including sins. Now it's our turn to let the grace of Jesus Christ help us to overcome our challenges. Hope in this world, and in the world to come is only a prayer away!
