back when jo jones was the drummer for count basie he had a really small kit but he swung the hell out of the band.
i love the ride with the rivets, i think he uses it in Steam among others; it creates such a floating, dreamy soundscape.

2010 to 2013 he used DW and then in 2014 he went to Yamaha and then went back to DW in 2015 you can tell by the lugs
