Forza Horizon 4 In 2024... Is It Worth Playing 6 Years Later?

- It has been nearly six years since the launch of the legendary Forza Horizon 4 and last week Xbox announced that they would be delisting the game in December. This means that if you have ever wanted to play the game, the next stretch of few months is your final chance to buy this game. But should you?
With the Steam Summer Sale ongoing right now, FH4 is on a massive sale, and hence I decided to go back and extensively play the game to see how it holds up in 2024 and if its worth your time and money to buy this game or come back to it. In my eyes, Forza Horizon 4 is very special, and while its not perfect, it comes very close.

I bought the base game and got Mitsubishi DLC for free. Do you recommend ultimate edition over base game for almost 10$?
@@trombulan Definitely. You get Lego DLC and Fortuna DLC. Basically new maps with a lot more cars.
Then you also get VIP membership for double credits and weekly super wheelspins.
And lastly you also get the Car Pass so you get a lot of exclusive cars (around 30) which are available only via the Car Pass
So all this content for 10$ is totally worth it imo

Great question btw, I know a lot of people are thinking the same since the game will be delisted soon and is on sale..
Well dude they delisted all the DLCs from the stores, so the only way to get all of them is in the ultimate edition and for all the content both the DLCs have, 10$ is a bargain

I generally find subtitles to be distracting from the video playing so I only include them at the start.
I still play this on Steam deck, optimised settings for 40fps

although fh3 is the best game in the series, fh4 brings more legendary cars into the game such as chiron, m5 e60, mclaren senna which fh3 lacked, a new camera mode, slightly bigger map,character costumization, properties, ...fh5 is also a good game but it doesn't bring a lot of improvements compared to fh4,only no lag turbos and the cars finally on the right side but also bugs and many expensive dlcs

They've already delisted a lot of the DLC for this game. Good thing I already bought most of them, I think.
That's good to hear that you were able to get a good deal of the DLC. I think most of it is now bundled with the Ultimate Edition now.

but you loose out on most of the DLC if you buy now, they got already delisted on July 25th, you can only get the dlc that come with the ultimate edition and the Mitsubishi Car Pack that is left, so you miss out on a lot, i got it late too, didnt know until 27th.

@@TheSupremeMedjay there are a lot of DLC car packs that are not part of the Ulitmate Edition, you only get the DLC that is listed in the discription of the Ultimate Edition, but there are many more dlc packs you are not geting with the Ultimate Edition. You can see a complete list in the wiki, since they are no longer listed on steam
