Also, to turn Traction Control off you just have to hold the button for like 5 seconds not a single press.
Paying more just to not get a really cool wing is kind of insane to me. What do you get? Gold painted calipers when the limited has the same brakes? If you weren't driving a lower trim would you really be able to tell that the damping tuning is any different? I seriously doubt it.
Looks fantastic! This best of the best without leaking roof!
I know not the same class of car but, now you both being people with families…would you take an 86/brz (30k) or civic si (also 30k). Aim is a car that can be satisfying to drive (steering, shifter etc) and also take baby around sometimes. Background I’m at the point in my life where I’ve done my rwd shenanigans and don’t value it as much. Wife has a practical car.
Looks cool but I’d still pick the S2000 over BRZ/GR86!
Sounds like they got into an argument right before making the video and it lingered throughout lol

Hey guys. I tried your truecar link for a porsche and two cars that were listed I asked about they both said the car is no longer available. Meh. Seems to be a scam to try using your link guys. Dealers don’t deal with your referrals. Probably because they don’t want to give a discount. Lame
Send me some screenshots with what happened to Instagram @yuritereshyn and I’ll run it by the truecar team
Intro music was 🔥🔥🔥
All I want to know is when it's check out time, oh no wait, all I want to know is... does the t stand for turbo?
I noticed yall said there’s no way to fully defeat the traction and stability control. I know that the 22 and 23s of you hold the traction off button, it shuts it all off completely. But for these 24s, it’s a little bit different, I think you have to hold them both down or like, have it in track mode and hold down the traction off button. I’m not sure, I have a 22
Tried all variations
The sti parts catalogue does have a big wing. It's a shame it's not from the factory with it
Gotta have wing. Wing it, Baby!
they only outsold the GR86 because toyota stock allocations were/are so bad, while subaru you can order directly from the factory.
Seems like Yuri just kinda showed that day, zero F’s given. Just sitting there saying stupid things and asking stupid questions. TH-cam life is hard 😂
Thanks Jacob 👍
Thanks I try my best - Jakub
@@TheStraightPipescan’t even spell his own name correctly smh
I would assume BRZ is outselling 86 because toyota has been notoriously difficult to order with since rona, and is much more likely to add mark ups. With the brz you can easily custom order exactly how you want, and get better financing. Additionally the GR is a couple grand more for seemingly no reason, and personally I like the front fascia of the brz
I like the GR86 facade and Toyota doesn't want to deal.
Each time I see a Toyobaru review from the Straight Pipes, I wonder if you still lose stuff from your pockets like in your first BRZ review. 😅
Thanks for the honest and awesome review
I enjoyed this review better than the throttle house one tbh .
you need to hold the TC off button down for like 3 sec
I just want Subaru to bring the STI brand back to its former glory 😢
It's not going to happen in our lifetime. Let it go.
Subaru also sold more because Toyota was marking them up. I could walk into a Subaru dealership and get one at MSRP which I did!
Feat. Yuri experimenting with edibles
BRZ outsold the 86 cause Toyota Dealers were marking the 86's up mad in the states while Subaru Dealers were handing the BRZ's at MSRP.
If you hold TRAC OFF for a few seconds, it will go full off. At least in my GR86 that works
Know what this car needs? Frickin' t-tops, man.
"still not going to jail" 0:34
😂😂😂😂😂😂
I'd take an ND3 MX-5 club over this. The GR86 & BRZ are terrific vehicles though.
Absolutely hated the OEM Torsen differential, had to upgrade to a clutch pack LSD.
Subaru should’ve put their 2.4Turbo in this car! 😁
Was Jacob kind of grumpy today? haha
I think he's tired. These top TH-camrs are ground down to nubs, in general.
They should release a factory turbo version of the BRZ and GR86
Just drop the WRX motor in it already. Give the people what they want.
Great review. Any update when you guys will be reviewing the Bugatti Tourbillion?
Heh never
If it’s got more grip, it means it’s tighter 😮💨
The brz looks best in white imo
turn on track mode, press and hold Track off. than you have total traction OFF.
