i just love how at 30:10 you can hear zelda's lullaby in the background. it's faded and sounds like it's in the distance, but it makes Hyrule Castle seem a tiny bit lighter than it is.

ZeldaMaster okay I just wanted to make sure you didn't think I was some rude critic I just wanted to make sure you fully enjoy this game I've played through it and it is by far my favorite Zelda game there is so much to explore
Cut them some slack, the map is huge and have so many areas to explore. It would’ve been cool having a ton of dungeons like this but let’s be real. This probably took at least half a year to make this dungeon itself. With such high quality it’s a wonder that we have so much in this game.
I had no problem with the divine beasts being the dungeons the story calls for link to beat, but I had a few issues. First of all, some of the shrines made the dungeon design in divine beasts look underwhelming by comparison. Second, the lynels, hinoxes, taluses and maldugas all having weaknesses the player had to figure out and time accordingly make the ganonblight bossfights really repetitive by comparison. Finally, the design for hyrule castle shows how good this game could have been if Nintendo had just spent an extra uear or two adding the temples to the game.
Hyrule castle in BotW is the new way to make traditional dungeons. I hope they implement that dungeon style more in the next game. I love the Divine Beasts, but Hyrule Castle has proven to be a great open, non-linear dungeon. I love how you can get in from any angle and how it is part of the world. That is something I really like about all five dungeons. The fact that they are in the world, not hidden on some cave. Oh, and the music is so great, especially the interior variation.
Luis Ugalde That ruins the part, dungeons are supposed to be locked rooms, with you needing a key to get to the other areas and get the dungeons item, that's why I don't like the "dungeons" because I don't feel like it's a Zelda game.
They definitely played around with Dungeons a lot in this game. Divine Beasts were good, but hopefully moving forward they use Hyrule Castle as a template for future Dungeons

Every time I come here early game I tell myself I'm only there for the Hylian Shield and a few dope weapons in the basement, but I always end up absolutely ransacking the entire place. Such an exhilarating dungeon when you're not overpowered yet.

Awesome! This feels like the end to Twilight Princess or Ocarina of Time where Hyrule Castle was the final dungeon before you faced Ganondorf in a two or three stage boss battle. And they don't hold your hand in this dungeon as a rule, regardless of what game you are playing. Wow!
I liked how Rhoam's way of raising his child turned her into somewhat of an atheist. She honors her duties because of her upbringing but she's more interested in things she can see or can be proven. For all we know the reason why she wasn't able to use her power because deep down she was probably faithless.

Ganon's Tower type levels always instill some sense of dread but this one just takes the idea of ultimate evil lair to the next level. It's practically lovecraftian in it's design and the fact that Ganon's Tower in this game used to be Hyrule Castle is pretty dark. It could very well be possible that when Ganon took over he just murdered all the original inhabitants of the castle including the king. And people say Nintendo is the kids company. XD
I made it to part 34 but I wanted to get back into the main story so I decided to skip ahead a bit. I can see why everyone loves this game though and I'm glad I found this channel to watch it on. After this I'll have to see what other games you've played and watch those. :)
One think I know about the Sheikah Shrines are, that if the Sheikah Towers haven’t raised from the ground, you can’t enter the shrines even with the Skeikah Slate. That’s what happened in one of the memories where the Sheikah Towers haven’t come up, and Zelda has the Sheikah Slate but she couldn’t go inside the shrine but the Towers weren’t up, not only meant for the hero who weields the sword that seals the darkness. You need the towers or else shrines can’t be activated even with a Sheikah Slate.
Loved the Tour ZeldaMaster but i think we all agree that You hyped it too much. I mean episode 50 should have been the episode in which you defeated Ganon.
I just climbed one of those black pillars outside the castle and floated straight into the Sanctum. Do I miss out for not going all the way through the castle?
I knew that the royal guard sword isn't actually the "dark master sword", but it kinda seems like it. It also goes really well with the dark link outfit. I always just thought of it as a dark master sword for dark link
I love exploring and looting this castle and getting the strongest weapons and dumping the weaker ones. I also got a blood moon in the castle and nothing respawned. I guess Nintendo fixed it because of what happened to a guy while he was defeating Ganon.

After reading Zelda's Research Notes, I can conclude that the Zelda of this game is a techno-freak. She loves Sheikah tech after seeing it so much, so that pretty much is my sole conclusion. Hope that side of Zelda would be shown in the original story.
You can get a royal guard's claymore from the first room in the lockup with the malice eye, mine had extra attack and had 102 damage, warning to royal guard's weapons they have low durability
Ok so I scrolled through the comments and didn’t see this and I know it’s been 3 years since this was posted but at 28:53 you talk about if king rhoam did actually talk more kindly to Zelda after her visit to the spring of wisdom and the saddest thing is, his diary entries end there bc it was after the spring of wisdom that Ganon appeared. So king rhoam died before getting a chance to speak to Zelda again :(

Yes but it can still break sadly. Happily after a blood moon you can get it back or you can buy it.
And the master sword that breaks then charges back up good as new
