Yay! I totally get this right now! I will definitely recommend this to my other schoolmates! Your channel makes Science and Biology more easier for me to study! My parents will be so proud of me! Thanks for uploading this video! Keep up the good work! :D
This presentation is correct up to a point. But BP is really the result of the 1) pressure exerted by the left ventricle of the heart; 2) pressure exerted by the blood on the blood vessels (hydrostatic pressure); 3) pressure exerted by the blood while it is in motion (kinetic pressure). I hope this helps.
@xxxSilentNinjAxxx1 Wow! That's good to hear. WE're happy to know we were able to help. Do stay tuned. We will have more Biology videos uploaded to the site soon.
Thanks, I'm applying for nursing school in 2 weeks. I've taken A&P1 and in 2 now, have taken nutrition, chem, and microbiology. You have helped me alot. I look forward to watching more vids from you. Subscribed today.
Other way to measure MAP is systolic blood pressure minus diastolic blood pressure, divide result on 3.Add result to diastolic blood pressure.e.g 120/70.120+ 140=290 divide by 3=97 might or 120-70=50 divide by 3=17+70=97 might MAP.
What is Hybetez Remedy and how does it work? I hear most people treat their high blood pressure issue naturally with this high blood pressure treatment.
You are very much welcome @Leslie Hernandez. Glad you got value from it. Make sure to subscribe to the channel, because I have a lot more content like this coming to help you understand how the human body works 👍🏽.
I would like to thank you from the buttom of my heart! Your all videos helped me alot in understanding everything. You are such a good teacher and an amazing helping man! God bless you and your loved ones.
Hi thank you for the explanation its really great and the formula for for MAP is a great addition to my practice as a medical professional. One question though what is the thinking/science behind that formula? Why is it calculated in that way?
Thank you very much for the video. Could you please answer to my questions? Can I say say that the MAP is an average of the systolic and diastolic blood pressure reflecting tissue perfusion? OR the pressure forcing blood into tissues, averaged over the cardiac cycle.
why is mean arterial pressure not systolic plus diastolic divided by 2? Is it because our arteries spend more time in a lower pressure state then a higher pressure state?
At pressure 120 on 80 and pulse 60 in minute, pressure it is equal 47,994. It is interesting, how the author of a clip will explain a high blood pressure in a femoral artery? Pressure in a femoral artery above, than at the basis of an aorta.
MAp is equal to systolic BP plus double diastolic blood pressure divide results on 3 .Units is mm of mercury.Normal range is 70-100-110 might.Make is simple ,short, useful for lay people.
Lol! I like just had a moment where I realized I'm like in deep thought as I listen and as I learn about this and the body in general, all the while I am the thing I'm learning about and trying to figure out as it all happens and is working inside my body. Just a funny thought.
It's amazing thing, in my opinion. Make sure to subscribe to the channel, because I have a lot more content like this coming to help you understand how the human body works.
Does Hybetez Remedy really work? I notice many people keep on talking about Hybetez Remedy. But I'm not sure if it is good enough to cleanse your high blood pressure issue inherently .
Lets say you measure and patient has BP 180/170 would you take it town and record or think something wrong with measuring? If you think its wrong, what no. Difference then is adequate difference between systole and diastole that will make you take it to record.
Does Hybetez Remedy really work? I notice lots of people keep on talking about Hybetez Remedy. But Im uncertain if it is good enough to cleanse your high blood pressure issue inherently .

thank you so much for this nice video , but in some resources says that the pressure in capillaries is zero and from this chart that you draw it shows that there is a significant pressure , could you please explain the reason :)

Co x pr is blood pressure, NOT MAP. MAP is diastolic pressure + (pulse pressure)\3. And it's not an even average between systolic and diastolic pressures. This is just wrong.
All of your videos make SO MUCH SENSE! I would rather be paying for you to teach me than for my professor. Thanks for making my life so much easier!
I'll send you my address. You can send me a check :) Just kidding - I'm so glad to hear that you are getting value from the videos!

U teach even better than my college professor. because of u i made A on the test. good work...keep it up man.
Thank you for these tools. I was having a difficult time following my professor, and material. This makes it a lot more clear. Keep up the great work!

Mean arterial pressure
Thank you so much you have no idea how much your vidios helped me👍👍👍
These videos are fantastic! You are a talented teacher.
Thank you so much for explaining the the xs area, bp, and velocity. This definitely solidified my understanding of the arterial/venus systems!
@florpark8 You're welcome :) And, thank you for spreading the word about our Biology videos... Have fun!
You're a life saver!! i learnso much faster watching your videos vs reading the textbook ^-^
@sweetestofdaydreams You are very much welcome. Glad it is helping!
Why we have to divide pulse pressure by 3 to

good work guys!
Beautiful explanation thank you sir
very clear. thank you
Great explanation, thank you!
I think he meant pr is TPR(total peripheral resistance), so SV(stroke volume) x HR is CO(cardiac output) and COxTPR is BP. You can see at 12.12
Great video ! thank you !
Thank you!
the concept was fun
Thank you
You're welcome
i knew it was wrong! b/c i sure don't remember that from class at all! thx for clarifying it.
Hi thank you for the explanation its really great and the formula for for MAP is a great addition to my practice as a medical professional. One question though what is the thinking/science behind that formula? Why is it calculated in that way?
There is a easier way to calculate the MAP. 2x diastolic + 1x systolic / 3
It should be (2*DBP+1*SBP)/3 if you want to write it this way. Better stick with 2/3 * DBP +1/3 * SBP
Thank you sir! thank you!
Thank you very much for the video. Could you please answer to my questions? Can I say say that the MAP is an average of the systolic and diastolic blood pressure reflecting tissue perfusion? OR the pressure forcing blood into tissues, averaged over the cardiac cycle.
thank you very much as a nursing student....can i have my request..on the OR INSTRUMENT PLS because tha my next duty...
Awesome
why is mean arterial pressure not systolic plus diastolic divided by 2? Is it because our arteries spend more time in a lower pressure state then a higher pressure state?
Hi just wondering, why exactly does the pressure decline from the small arteries to the arterioles. Is it due to decline in arterioles in radius?
hi Dr
what is the relationship between radius "diameter "and pressure??
At pressure 120 on 80 and pulse 60 in minute, pressure it is equal 47,994. It is interesting, how the author of a clip will explain a high blood pressure in a femoral artery? Pressure in a femoral artery above, than at the basis of an aorta.
Thank you form Ethiopian. easier to understand my physio class
Why there is 1/3 of (sp-dp)?
MAp is equal to systolic BP plus double diastolic blood pressure divide results on 3 .Units is mm of mercury.Normal range is 70-100-110 might.Make is simple ,short, useful for lay people.
I LOVE YOU!
Jah man! Very helpful!

Does Hybetez Remedy really work? I notice many people keep on talking about Hybetez Remedy. But I'm not sure if it is good enough to cleanse your high blood pressure issue inherently .
is the term "blood pressure" the same as "mean arterial pressure" or there is a difference between the 2 terms?
Aisha Al-Abry, big difference between both
what is the distinction?
Lets say you measure and patient has BP 180/170 would you take it town and record or think something wrong with measuring?
If you think its wrong, what no. Difference then is adequate difference between systole and diastole that will make you take it to record.
That would definitely concern me and would be cause for further evaluation.
What so important about the MAP
Just wow
I hope that's a good wow 😉
Does Hybetez Remedy really work? I notice lots of people keep on talking about Hybetez Remedy. But Im uncertain if it is good enough to cleanse your high blood pressure issue inherently .
Why we take diastolic twice in the formula of MAP
Bcz if we open the formula then 2DP+SP/3 .....
THIS Will comes out
Plz explain this
Just double the diastolic and add systolic pressure then divide by three = easy

@TheMordyS LOL. Thanks :)
Good video in general. Well done, but the pace could be made faster, and I mean way faster :-D
MAP= (2 D + 1 S) /3
@ThisDOLL You'll sure learn a lot from these videos. Stay tuned because we have more Biology videos coming very soon!
he sounds bajan
I thought mean meant somebody was being mean
