Wow, I graduated from Nursing School a few weeks ago and honestly, I am just now understanding this today by watching this smh Wow...Now I realize we were just trying to pass exams but never really getting it smh Thank you for everything you do!!! Please never stop teaching!!! We need you!!!
I’ve been struggling and frustrated to the point of tears in class the past two weeks trying to make sense of my professors lectures. How do you make more sense to me in less than 15 minutes than he has in 8 hours? You and Dr. Matt are amazing, you truly give me those *AHA!* moments when listening to your podcasts/watching videos. Please keep doing what you do!
I am not a medical student and wasn't interested in how the body worked until I stumbled upon these videos. This man makes it so easy to understand the mechanics of the body that now I am wildly fascinated by it. This is what good teaching does.
I spent the whole day learning this with my lecturer and ddnt get even 10% of what she was saying and this video I got 100% of what u were saying. May God bless you
Just try lots of sources. Some people converse better with each other so a lot of science and medical literature is suited to those on the same wave length but there are authors and presenters who can simplify content or word it a little differently to keep other people interested and engaged or just make it all click a little better. Every time I'm exposed to content I seem to get a better appreciation. Worryingly I do get decent marks when I don't feel confident in my understanding.
@@buffalobill2874 Good points. I like to reduce things to their basic concepts first and then repeat it over and over before I go onto the final details. I'm in cardiac science and KNOW most teachers overexplain almost everything. A lot of it is really not that difficult.
I searched and searched for videos explaining this, but they always left me with questions. You explained this extremely well and I was left with full understanding! Thank you so much!
I thought I knew enough of CO after having just wrapped up my cardiology unit, and then I see your video and I realized there’s so much I didn’t know. Thanks for teaching from a different angle while relating it to the bigger picture. Your videos are awesome!
Hi Dr Mike, I can't thank you enough for your generosity and dedication as your big help in every time I sending questions in comment Thank you so much for taking just 14 minutes to answer all of my questions about the cardiovascular system in great detail. When compared to two weeks of confusing lectures in class, this 14-minute video is worth every single second of your time. In terms of bridging the gaps in my knowledge, this video is the best one. In addition, you clarified plenty of confusing textbook terms for me. Just realised you made a lot of interesting TikTok clips, so I'll spend the rest of my exam prep time watching both your TikTok clips and your lectures on TH-cam again. I wish all the best come to you and your family. I'm going to spread the word about your TH-cam channel to all of my classmates because you're the best teacher ever. Because you're a lifesaver for patients and students alike, please keep up the great work. ❤❤❤❤❤👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I cannot believe how you even made this fun as well as making sense. Been dreading this part of my course and thanx to you everything is falling into place!
You guys are seriously incredible and explain everything so well. Thank you so incredibly much. You are unbelievably underrated… definitely deserve more subscribers!!! I just don’t understand at all! Seriously thank you for everything you upload! One day notes or a website etc would be incredible if you ever have time ( me dreaming! I can dream!! I really already so grateful 😊). Silly coming from me, as I’ve actually finished my studies long ago but love to watch and refresh everything in a simple(?)/ straight forward & enjoyable manner. You are a favourite ‘tv show’ of mine! Wonder how it would have been if I had TH-cam back when I studied. I’m 36 & was a high definition student as I studied non stop and hard… videos like your would have made things even easier . Current students really should be incredibly grateful to you and I hope you are shown the appreciation you truly deserve!
Dr. Mike, you truly have a natural gift to teach! The ability to take something complex and help others see it plainly deserves a standing ovation. Thank you!
Thank you so much for your videos!! They are so clear and easy for me to follow, you have made studying for my exams 1000 x easier, and have helped me remember the processes!
Texas here...Your videos are the best. I understand your videos and in a short period of time than I ever have in college. Fantastic job. Keep up the good work. 👏 👍 💪 👌
After watching multiple videos, I can finally say I understand what preload and afterload are. You explain the concept from the very basic things and connect the dots together. Now they all make senses to me. 😊
absolutely amazing delivery, articulate and broken down to easily understand. this is helping me tremendously with my A&P 2 class. thanks to you I will NOT fail
I'm doing a postgrad in Neuroscience Nursing, and am doing a refresher on crit care nursing. I've been freaking out doing my readings, but I am so grateful to your channel! Simple, easy to follow, and you are both clearly passionate about teaching. I am hooked!
Before every single physiology test/exam i set aside at least 2 hrs for watching all the videos on that section from Dr Mike. You make it so easy. Literally life saving.
i have no words to thank you!!!!! this is the topic that has been haunting me in my medical life! THANKS A MILLION DR. for being such a great explainer i love you and your videos.... they are of great help. keep shinning more power to you!
Dr Mike, you're a legend. I have the most challenging time understanding these from my lecturers and here you are explaining it in 15 minutes and I actually understand. I can't thank you enough
What a great professional! Nobody could have explained that easier then You, Mike. Great knowledge, great teacher! I wish to see more and watch all of your videos, because I don’t really get what my science teacher is lecturing us… every time I come after lectures and look for your videos 😂…
Thank you so much for making such amazing videos! I watch my Uni lectures and often still don't understand the content by the end... then I come to your channel and all my questions are answered in a short, digestible and super informative video. Love the passion and simplicity in your teaching - it's doing incredible things for students. Thanks again!
Hi Dr. Mike I would like to say thank you so much. I am just done taking my Cardiovascular exam and i was so confident answering my questions. It is all because of you and your video. Keep making video doctor and god bless you. Love from Kentucky USA
Dr. Mike you are awesome I listened to this lecture in my nursing class 2 days ago, it did not make sense until I listened to this one! It made so much sense. Nursing made easy! Keep up the great work and may God Bless you abundantly you saved me from some frustrations.
Thank you for your lecture… in my case dancing and jumping with good rock and roll music at the bar here in Fargo Friday and Saturdays my life heart beats syndrome has improved a lot.. and for free…
This is an excellent video. I struggled with this so long in the past. However, after watching your video, I have a better understanding... Thank you very much 😊
I'm in graduate school currently in an anatomy and physiology course. I have had two three-hour lectures this week on this topic and didn't understand one thing the professor said. I watched this video and all of a sudden I am an expert on this topic now! WOW! Great delivery. Thank you!
i am so amazed how simple u explained cardiac output, preload and afterload!! thank u for making it so easy and simple for us who struggle learning it… u summarized it clearly in just 15minutes versus my 5hr A&P class… thank u
I am from Ethiopia I have got many hint and concepts from your lecture in few minutes , keep it up!!!! thank you Dr mike I am proud of you !! an intelligent Dr!!!
I think so many medical students, like myself, struggle with comprehending Afterload simply because of its name. Its name has very little correlation to its definition and can be misleading given the concept of preload fits its name in a general sense. Thank you for this video! Made it a lot clearer.
Thx u very much for making the channel. This explaination is very useful. You guys explain physiology very well. I use to choose to look by the picture first😂, never visit your channel for years.. and I knew now that I did a mistake. I missed the very good part.😁😁 Please keep doing it. You could be teacher for medical staff from all around the world. Thx u again. Never understand it so clear like this before. We need more from you guys❤ ❤
You are very good at this. Most like me pay no attention to their heart until they don't feel well and they go to doc after doc after doc and get test after test after test until one day a few weeks ago I end up going to the ER and now I'm 13 days post op with triple CABG bypass. I'm trying to learn all I can about my heart now and how to keep it healthy.
I always find uni lectures really confusing. The lecturer sounds like reciting the script and I got bored listening to them. It is confusing too. But when i listen to Dr Miks' video, it always pumps me up! The simplicity and precise really helps me understand the contently so much easily! You are the best Dr Mike!
Hi,dr. Mike U teaches in very simple language to understand.....u should start teaching for the NCLEX-RN exam...many nursing students will pass because of u guys....lots of love....I watch all ur videos.....
3 hours of lecture and I am completely vexed; you do this in 15 minutes! Thank you so much Dr. Mike for getting me through A&PII!
AGREED, with your statement!
Tell me about it.
I'm not a medical student, just a curious human. The way you explain it is so simple. Teaching really is a skill in itself!
Wow, I graduated from Nursing School a few weeks ago and honestly, I am just now understanding this today by watching this smh Wow...Now I realize we were just trying to pass exams but never really getting it smh Thank you for everything you do!!! Please never stop teaching!!! We need you!!!

My instructor needs to watch your videos. He had me all over the place and you broke it down simply.

Since I entered nursing school until now I keep watching your videos , think u doctor Mike 🤍🇸🇦
Clear, precise and just enough detail without going into overload. Thank you.
I spent the whole day learning this with my lecturer and ddnt get even 10% of what she was saying and this video I got 100% of what u were saying. May God bless you
I never remember a thing during lectures. I just try to absorb the key points and then go over everything at home.

This is exactly the way physiology should be taught your passion in your teaching is inspiring.
