i genuinely don’t know if it’s just me - but I think that DreamWorks has this thing where the second film is always the best. This, Kung Fu Panda 2, Puss in Boots 2, Shrek 2 and How to Train Your Dragon 2 are all insanely good sequels

They have perfected the art of creating great sequels which is definitely hard cuz mostly sequels s*ck... except for kung fu panda the 1st and 3rd were definitely better

Here’s a sad thing that I will always remember about this movie. The actor who voiced Zuba unfortunately passed either during or just after the making of the movie. Then the creators decided to let his family be the very first to see the movie in a privet screening.
So nice, but so very sad.

HIS NAME IS BERNIE MAC and he’s a very respected comedian so it’s no surprise the studio did that everyone loved Bernie Mac
Alex knew which one was the real Marty by knowing Marty still has the bite mark from where Alex bit him in the first movie.
7:59 I appreciate the subtle detail that the foot pad on Zuba's "palm" is rounder so it looks more like a real lion's paw, despite having fingers and a thumb; whereas Alex's foot pad on his "palm" is shaped more like a rectangle/trapezoidal shape like a human palm. This is one way of inferring that Alex has lived around humans his whole life and behaves more like a human than a lion, while Zuba behaves much more like a lion in the wild because he's barely been around humans himself.
The crash sequence is my favourite part of all these movies, I've seen it so many times I've memorized Skipper's dialogue

You need to watch Game Night (2018). As for what it is, it’s a modern comedy classic that could be easily confused for a remake of Clue. Plus it’s from the same directors as Honor Among Thieves.
After "84 years" you’re finally reacting to the rest of the Madagascar films (starting with Madagascar 2) just 3 months after reacting to the first film.
Hopefully you also get to react the 3rd Madagascar film and _The Penguins of Madagascar_ to round up your Madagascar reactions along with reacting to the other two _Night of the Museum_ films since it’s been 3-4 months since you reacted to the first film.
She should also see the holiday specials during those exact occasions!

I realistically see her do Merry Madagascar since it’s a Christmas Special, and although Christmas Caper is also Christmas related, I haven’t seen her done ANY reactions to shorts it’s mostly films she tends to do.

Moto Moto is such a great character even besides the memes. He’s the first character I’ve seen in an animated movie who finds big women beautiful (and props to the movies anyway for designing Gloria as attractive and not making constant fat jokes on her). The caveat is that Moto Moto is too shallow to be interested in Gloria beyond her body, but also, he’s shown to still be a decent guy. He still is friends with Gloria after she rejected him, and he helps everybody look for water. A good nuanced character has flaws but they don’t dominate their personality. Moto Moto does have a personality outside of his love of fat women.
And yes, it does lead to the lovable fact that Melman loves Gloria for her, and not her body. He doesn’t even mention her body at all when describing how much he loves her. But it also doesn’t invalidate someone for having Moto Moto’s preference.

The fact that a hippo in the middle of nowhere knows what a space ship is raises a lot of questions about the Madagascar universe.

At the end of the film, the penguins even load up the diamonds and gold; and in the film after, they put it to various good uses.

In regards to how Mort keeps surviving, the spinoff series All Hail King Julien reveals Mort as a functionally immortal abomination that is so old that he figures as an Adam and Eve figure in the lemurs' history book. Make of that what you will.

The first one is obviously the best and a classic, this one is pretty good, I hated the third one when it first came out, but it’s definitely growing on me a bit, still not good though. The penguin movie is pretty much its own thing, you should definitely watch it’s fun.
Even better than the first, Madagascar is truly one of the best animated Trilogies ever made deserves more appreciation!

There's a 3 story Madagascar video on the flix. Only 40 something minutes long. It's about Valentine's Day and Christmas. One of the stories follows the 🐧 penguins and is my favorite.
There's also a King Julien series with a few seasons.
