I love Indian Wells. I live in Coronado (near San Diego) and it's only 2+ hours away. Even in the summer months, the resorts are less expensive due to people hating the heat - but it's actually great. I went last August for a few days and it was 109-115 degrees in the middle of the day. I lounged around the pool at Miramonte (day pass on resortpass) in the morning hours, then a lunch siesta (burp) with the A/C full blast at the hotel, then again pool time in the late afternoon / evening (Make sure you get a chaise under an umbrella!). Out to dinner at any one of the restaurants in neighboring Palm Desert, then pool and spa time at night. Lush golf courses and beautiful mountain backdrops...can't beat it.

Hey Norm, that sounds like a good time haha. You’re making me wish it was summer with your stories. Less crowds to deal with and like you said it’s more affordable. My family and I love visiting Coronado! Thank you for watching.

My favorite time of year there is summer. I have spent most of my life in The Bay Area , can't take the dreary fog anymore . !15 degrees in good to recover from fog chill. :)

That's awesome Amanda, you can't beat the summer heat when you've been stuck in fog and overcast skies up in The Bay Area! Thank you for watching!

I love the perspective about home prices being higher if it was 80 degrees all year long.
