Nice review, Armin, as always. There is one other thing that the fibreglass Yarha could claim as a strength: Fibreglass bows as a rule and in my experience, tend to be more tolerant of neglect and abuse. I own a fibreglass Scythian design bow, and it has outlasted so many of my wood laminated bows over the years. It does not look as appealing, but it works. On an unrelated matter, you have a very well fed rabbit. I usually do some archery practice very early in the morning before work at a forest near my office, and I saw two feral rabbits running around in the bush. They are not as well fed as yours, but they were rabbits nonetheless. It seems coincidental that I would see a rabbit in your video today.

Picked up a Yarha, based on your earlier reviews, and have really enjoyed it. Really just can't go wrong for the price, the long draw is so much fun. Thanks for bringing attention to all these great options.

The Yarha is an awesome bow. It draws easily and smoothly to 36", perfect for my long arms. ;)

alibow also has the Dunhuang long that does 35"- compared to my manchu it is my "fast bow" and may be my favorite bow even over more expensive options. Certainly the one that gets the most use! not a sales pitch but i know its hard to find bows that fit us longer limbed types so just in case you had not noticed the Dunhuang as an option.

Did I hear you say there's a long draw version of the Yarha coming? 38 inches sounds perfect for me! Can't wait for the review 😃

I was already wondering the extra seconds🐇 cute Bunny. Hi Mr. Armin I liked the Yarha more It is clear that when you draw you can take it more smoothly. They are both nice. My daughter is already worried about the bunny. I told her, Armin is not going to allow something bad to happen to the 🐇 . Thanks for the video.😃👍

I'm so in love with Manchu bows😍
I ordered one from Fairbow, Magén already started to build it. It will have 40-45# @ 36" (I will draw roughly 34-35")
Now I build arrows for the bow, got 36" carbon shafts, that are 490grn raw.
I'm really excited about the bow, can't wait to hold it in my Hands ❤️

Where i live it gets 110 F in the summer, there are times when i shoot when the wax smears off if you touch the string. Never had a problem with delamination. You just NEVER keep your bow in your car. Treat it like a dog or a baby : )

It's great to see a comparison between a laminated and fiberglass bow of the same style. I'd love to see more of that. Specifically how Alibow's fiberglass Mongolian bows compare to the Keshig. Is the difference enough to justify being three times the price? Is it worth upgrading from one to the other?

    • @ArminHirmer

this reminds me that alibow has a kids fibreglass bow- its really quite nice for the price. if you grab that Yarha and have kids, consider picking up some matching for the family! (I am not paid by alibow.. just a satisfied customer)

I was reading that AF Archery’s new Gen 2 Zhu Ran has new wider limbs that are 42mm and has a 16mm riser and is 151cm total in length and has a draw of 37”. That could be an interesting bow. Hopefully AF sends you one🤞👍😃

Hey Armin, I recently started getting into traditional Ottoman archery. I'm relatively new to the thumb draw so I've come across an issue. Any time I shoot, the arrow scrapes the skin off my bow-hand thumb. I've tried many grips but it made no difference. Also I do not want to use one of those leather things to protect your hand. Can you give some tips to avoid this? Thankyou

The siyahs on the Yahra seem much beefier than the Qing, albeit not as aesthetically pleasing. Function over form I reckon. I think a speed comparison would have been interesting. As always, kia mihi.
