Even i as Jakartans who have been lived here for 23 years, still amazed with the food in here, very rich with so many culture blending in, and the innovations in the f&b business area make Jakarta and Bandung as a target of food travel, and thank you Mark for the inspiring videos.

+MarkWiens (In my opinion) I like how you deliver the content like your trip to Jordan, Kyoto, and Bangkok. the content was delivered nicely to the audience. And also the opening music, for me the "drum roll" kind of thing was nice than this one. But after all I LIKE ALL YOUR VIDEOS. And can't wait for your next "AROUND THE WORLD" trip that you already announced in the previous video.

Look up the Indonesian noodle scene. My aunt is a noodle fanatics and she always tried to introduce me to different noodle stalls. There are huge varieties of noodle that originate from different part of Indonesia. Each tastes different and they all made their own twist and versions. Check it out while you are still in Jakarta, you won't disappoint.
I can give you some brief list and I'm sure there are viewers here that can add more to those list.
    - bakmie alok- chicken noodle
    - bakmie pinangsia- pork + chicken lo mien
-bakmie gang mangga (manggo alley) - epic chicken and pork noodle with refried meatball. Good for hangover food
    - Mie karet pasar baru- chewy noodle with chicken (1 of my fav)

Ingat kalau Gladys nggak mau makan karena melihat dagingnya yang lembut berwarna merah muda mengingatkannya kepada sesuatu gituw. Duh waktu demikian cepat berlalu.

Hi Mark, try Lapo Marpadotbe in East Jakarta. It's a famous food from North Sumatera. You can order babi panggang (grilled pork) with North Sumatera style and you can eat it with sambal andaliman. You'll love sambal andaliman.
And also try Warung Ce, in Summarecon Serpong-Tangerang. They serve se'i babi. Se'i means smoke. Se'i babi = smoke pork. They cook it in Kupang style.

that deep fried-mashed potato called Perkedel Kentang and i'm sure you can get bowl of oxtail soup with a half price, more cheaper and i believe more flavor and delish here ini Solo, Central Java. actually it's not right in Solo but Tawangmangu, Karangayar it's about one hour and half to get there from Solo. that oxtail soup named Sop Buntut Bu Ugi. you can visited there sometimes and explore more food from indonesia especially Solo, Jogja or perhaps you can get to east java to try Nasi Pecel Yu Gembrot in Madiun because Karanganyar is the frontier between central and east java, about one hour to get there :D

What is the problem? Sukarno so very friendly to india, one of his best friend is mr. Nehru, we are respect to india, but why indians not respect to us? I'm so respect to philipine people, they are so nice...

You mean "Indian Tech Support" and his cronies? They are not real Indians, they're just trolls. Don't take everything at face value. Semua negara ada orang yang baik dan ada yang nggak baik juga.

you should have eaten the Oxtail Soup at Hotel Borobudur Bogor Cafe. It's pricey though, but the taste is worth the price!
